But in general PAD's run, Morrison's JLA run and the current one from Johns are the best.

Mine would have to be "Arthur Goes Hawaiian!" storyline (Aquaman #3-4, Peter David's 1994 series)

And the current series Geoff Johns is writing. Definitely some of the best stories I've read from Aquaman in a long time, especially the "Throne of Atlantis" crossover.

Here's a review of Aquaman #16 which is my favorite issue of the New 52 series.
