exav3n's 2017 DC Villains popularity tournament

a year has passed since i started my first DC/Marvel popularity tournament so here i am back again, hope we all have fun

inspired by : rikr2 and d_bones

we are starting as last year with the DC Villains popularity tournament

this will be a double-elimination tournament with a wild card bonus round

this is a series of 6 tournaments :

1. DC Villain popularity tournament (last years winner : Joker) Bracket

2. Marvel Villain popularity tournament (last years winner : Doctor Doom)

3. DC Hero popularity tournament (last years winner : Batman)

4. Marvel Hero popularity tournament (last years winner : Wolverine)

5. DC/Marvel Regular character popularity tournament (last years winner : James Gordon)

6. Final DC/Marvel popularity tournament where all the best collide (last years winner : Batman)

all winners from last year have an automatic spot in the 6th Final DC/Marvel tournament and are therefor excluded from the first 5 tournaments

Rules :

• everyone can nominate up to 4 DC Villains when we hit 32 the tournament will start (the last 4 nomination spots are reserved for me)
• 1v1 at random
• first to 10 votes wins (vote for the one YOU like not the one you feel is more popular)
• looser goes into the lower bracket
• winner of the lower bracket goes into the upper bracket final so it will be 1v1v1 in the finals
• during the first round anyone can do a write in together with his vote for a Villain that is not in the 32 at the end of the first round the write ins will battle it out in one fight and the winner will go up against the Villain who lost by the largest margin in the first round and if he can win he will take his place in the first lower bracket round (if there is high support for more then 1 write in there will be more of these)
