Everyone settle down...

Hey all-

Kinda saddens me that I to write up a post like this since we've been a pretty friendly place here since launch. The fact that there's been very little need for moderation here is a testament to the coolness of our little clan.

So for the record... let's all take a deep breath on the boards and settle down. LAMP, G-MAN and I have enough problems trying to keep a site of this size running well without having to deal with the recent drama. You want to see real drama, check out how I cry when the server bill comes every month.

Let's get back to bitching about how silly the comics themselves are, we don't need to resort to bitching at each other. We run a pretty loose site here, but if things continue the way they're going I'm gonna have to break out those pastel boxes of containment.

You'd be doing me a big favor if you could settle your differences and retcon this whole incident with a happy ending without sending us 10 PMs a minute. I'm in no mood to crawl through the boards and hand out suspensions tonight. I've got a few hundred submissions from new members with horrible spelling to moderate/rewrite. Give a guy a break.

We'll consider doing some T-Shirt stuff if peeps chill out. I'll even throw in my own design.

I just gotta say I'm pretty pissed. It almost makes me not want to be as active in the boards. It's really a shame. I do hope we can get beyond all this.

I am very sorry to all those i have upset this day it was out of hope we did this some people in the RPG where complaining to us (Methos and Myself) about being treated with disrespect. We thought it would be a good idea to show the leaders of the two groups united against it. Many people took this the wrong way and again sorry for that.

My retcon involves LAMP and G-MAN hugging panda bears while the Vine Villains throw daisies at each other. Call me a dreamer.

Meanwhile on page 12, the entire Watchmen team page gets filled in.

Will this go down as the worst day in all comicvine history as of that I know of?

Dude, if this is the worst we're in for an awesome future. Ask me for some TV.com stories one day. I used to get 4 page emails about how stupid I was and how I should be fired for that one. A couple profanity laced PMs don't phase me. I just ignore it with my super... um... super.. um... super willpower... based constructs that will attack you when you sleep!

I am extremely disappointed to see Methos leave because of stuff in the forum. I personally do not see where the problem is, but then again I don't read anything in the RPG section which seems to be the problem. I'd suggest people who are getting offended in the RPG forums to just stop reading them, a forum isn't just a place to play text RPGs.

He's decided to stay for now. But I'm just not sure, sometimes I wonder.

I'm trying to convince him to just stop reading crap from the RPG section... looks like it might work.

I think it is best to forget the whole thing to tell you the truth it was abit of fun that got blowen way out of proportion, I have mainly been to blame for most of it thats why Arrow is going to be no more once again sorry if I offeneded anyone.
