SMART HULK GRITS HIS TEETH, HOLDING UP THE CEILING WITH ONE GOOD ARM, HIS OTHER ARM BURNED AND LIFELESS.
THE CRACKED CEILING GIVES WAY. A MILLION GALLONS OF RIVER WATER RUSH IN.
So hulk with 1 arm can hold up at least 3,700 tons.
@webinyoureye11: Meh, always thought it was a low thousand ton feat
Some other things:
It's implied the ground strike by Cap would've "finished off" Thanos, though that's possibly from his POV
Carol is confirmed to have a binary form
Cull is not an individual, but just another unit of his army. Should be interesting in army battles
Thanos had a "faint smile" on his face during the Cap fight so he was apparently having fun there
Thanos was using Iron Man as a shield
Avengers were losing the battle
Thanos actually performed pretty badly initierally against the trio
"THANOS STUMBLES, ON HIS HEELS. THE HEROES PUNISH HIM"
No mention of energy absorbtion or Carol overpowering Thanos, she just stops him from closing his hand.
Finally this Carol was absorbing the stones bulls***t can be put to rest Thanos is just streight up fodder to her
Honestly the part about trio fight doesn't make sense. Neither was Thanos struggling, nor they were really fighting to the best of their abilities (at least not in the moment of their first attack) - guess it shows the intent though.
Carol being more powerful than Thanos was already pretty much confirmed by the movie. Also, it didn't confirm that she would beat Thanos with sword.
@the_hajduk: Someone spotted two Culls when Avengers & Thanos' army clash for first time - maybe it wasn't an editing mistake?
Wait wtf is this about Cull not being an individual? Are we saying that multiple Culls exist?
Well he isn't the last member of his race, is he now? That might be Black Dwarf we are seeing ;] his twin brother.
@nn5: When they clash I remember Cap hitting Cull with Mjolnir. Are you saying there’s another Cull in that shot who I never noticed?
If Cull is just a cloned unit of the army then that really devalues the character. I know he’s not exactly deep but I still thought he was an awesome villain. But this makes him fodder.

Problem is that hold on the gauntlet is kinda unfair because she's using her propulsion and her two hands to hold Thanos's fingers - if the IG wasn't on it she might have broken them NGL.
I don't know how she can get ragdolled and proceed to no-sell later. She's more inconsistent than EG Thor. And it's dumb that Thanos forgets to use his left hand right after he almost got killed from trying to outstat Thor and Cap with one hand.
@rajjarsalt: That would make sense. If he had a brother or just other members of his race. But if they’re all Cull then that sucks.
Ofc she’s stronger than Thanos, he even struggled to impale Thor while having greater leverage. Making Thanos a brick with a boomerang sword was stupid asl.
STEVE ATTACKS, CRACKING THANOS IN THE JAW.
THANOS TUMBLES. BEFORE THE TITAN CAN GET UP, STEVE CALLS DOWN THE LIGHTNING AND SENDS IT CRACKLING INTO THANOS’ BODY.
Steve leaps, trying to finish Thanos off...
BUT THANOS ROLLS ASIDE, HEAD-BUTTING STEVE BACKWARDS.
HAHA, I knew the Mjolnir shot was a finishing blow! Though Thanos chokeslammed Steve, not headbutted him. There really are problems with this script.
Wait a minute, what the hell is this?
TIME RESUMES AS...THEY ALL SCRAMBLE FOR THE STONES. THEY COLLIDE.
THANOS SNATCHES UP THE GAUNTLET, KICKING THOR DOWN.
THANOS KNOCKS TONY ASIDE, THEN SQUEEZES THE CRUSHED GAUNTLET, POPPING IT OPEN...JUST WIDE ENOUGH TO PUT HIS HAND INSIDE.
STEVE LUNGES, BUT THANOS THROTTLES HIM.
It's a rough script which obviously has some mistakes like the Cull things and a lot of it was changed, some good insight to go along with the finished article of the movie though.
All the misogynists are coming together to find new excuses for Carol manhandling Thanos I bet
@kolkent: Misogyny is not the only reason that people hate on her . A lot of people who are feminists also hate upon Captain Plank.
She was able to almost defeat the guy who had been hyped up for over 10 years . Every other Avenger had sacrificed their loved ones , beaten and bloody and then this newbie comes in , acts all smug and OP , and powers through a large chunk of the army .
Thor lost his entire family , almost sacrificed himself to kill Thanos , and yet , every Avenger was making fun of him while they treated Carol as the next Jesus Christ .
Also, she was the one who lead the A-Team charge , when it should have someone like Rescue , Scarlet Witch , or even Okoye.
Another one of the reasons ( for quite a few , including me ) is that Natasha aka Black Widow was the one who deserved her own solo outing first , not Captain Plank.
Kevin Feige seems to have an infatuation with Vers . He declared her as by far the most powerful hero in the MCU ( even though it should be Wanda , Thor , Bruce Banner , or Dr Strange ) and claimed she would lead the MCU , which again pissed people off.
The script literally just says what happened on-screen between Carol and Thanos, but on-screen gives context and shows Thanos is stronger than her, nothing has changed between them
Lmao gotta love the salty 20 year old basement incels having mental breakdowns over Carol being superior to Thanos.
@cocacolaman: @wolverinebatmanftw: I always knew that she was superior to Thanos . I am just arguing how it is not just misogyny which is fueling people’s hate for her.
@cocacolaman: Or maybe the Russo’s just changed the scene . They are the directors after all.
The script also says that Ebony Maw tumbled Wanda , the Hulk lifted a mile wide crater , and that the trinity had Thanos on the back foot , even though he was stomping the team before Cap lifted Mjolnir.
Wasn't talking about you, mate. I was talking about guys like this:
Carol is so fucking trash
So she's stronger than Thanos now ?
Lol another reason of why this movie is bs
HAHA, I knew the Mjolnir shot was a finishing blow! Though Thanos chokeslammed Steve, not headbutted him. There really are problems with this script.
Things can change from the script and the final movie. The script mostly just gives us insight and context to certain scenes but there are things that will be different in post.
All the misogynists are coming together to find new excuses for Carol manhandling Thanos I bet
Breakdown of all script feats:
They hang there a long, terrible moment. CLINT’S GRASP STARTS TO LOOSEN. Finally, she looks him in the eye.
That makes Nolan Batman stronger than Clint and Nat, as he was beaten up, in worse situation and had to handle much heavier weight than Clint had to (when he saved Ra's from falling off the cliff)
That thing is channeling enough energy to light up a continent.
Also in the script, although the dialog was formed a bit different
SMART HULK Lightning won’t help you, pal. It’s gotta be me. (approaching) You saw what those stones did to Thanos. They almost killed him. None of you could survive. STEVE And how do we know you can? SMART HULK We don’t. But the radiation’s mostly gamma. (beat) It’s like I was made for this...
HIM is underlined. It is made clear that what could almost kill Thnos will definitely kill all other avengers. And just like in the movie, it is made clear that Hulk only will survive due to Gamma.
Nothing moves. The smoke clears, revealing...A BOMBED OUT CRATER A MILE WIDE. Avengers Compound has been destroyed.
The crater created by the missiles was 1 mile wide.
THE CRACKED CEILING GIVES WAY. A MILLION GALLONS OF RIVER WATER RUSH IN. RHODEY TRIES TO KEEP HIS HEAD ABOVE WATER
So Hulk was not just holding the ceiling, but also a million gallons of water on top of the ceiling, That's thousands of tons while injured, with one arm.
JUST AS THOR CHARGES THANOS. WHAM! ALL THREE AVENGERS ATTACK, USING THEIR SKILLS IN CONCERT.
THANOS STUMBLES, ON HIS HEELS. THE HEROES PUNISH HIM, RELENTLESS
In the movie, Thanos was never stumbling on his heels. Perhaps they shortened this scene.
Thor calls for Stormbreaker, but Thanos intercepts it. He presses the blade into Thor’s chest, trying to drive it home. Then, across the field...MJOLNIR RISES INTO THE AIR. THANOS GRINS, ABOUT TO FINISH THOR OFF, WHEN...MJOLNIR FLIES IN, KNOCKING THE AXE OUT OF HIS HAND
As I expected, no details about Thor resisting Thanos trying to push Storbkreaer.
Just a short note how Thanos was about to finish Thor off.
Half-conscious, THOR SEES STEVE HOLDING MJOLNIR.
Thor was almost KO'd by Thanos, also clear in the movie, where Thor takes a lot of time to get back up fighting.
Steve leaps, trying to finish Thanos off...BUT THANOS ROLLS ASIDE, HEAD-BUTTING STEVE BACKWARDS.
A minor difference from the movie, where Thanos chokeslams Steve, not headbutt.
Anyways, notice the difference in above line and the previous line "about to finish off" vs "trying to finish off"?
THANOS GETS TO HIS FEET, A FAINT SMILE ON HIS FACE.
All I remember is Ebony Maw stopping Cull obsidian, noting "let him have his fun" and Thanos smiling while fighting Hulk. Not surprisingly, this fight resembles Thanos vs Hulk in many ways.
Steve watches Sam soar over the field, then turns AS EVEN MORE PORTALS OPEN.
THOR gets to his feet, calling Stormbreaker to his hand as...TONY regains consciousness, staring out at the cavalry.
This is when Tony (ko'd by Thor) and Thor (nearly ko'd by Thanos) regain their consciousness and get back on their feet.
DRAX launches himself onto a CULL currently choking the life out of KORG.
A cull?
Elsewhere, TONY BATTLES SEVERAL CULLS. One knocks him into an Outrider, who’s about to rip his armor off when... THWIP. PETER PARKER webs the Outrider, yanking him into the path of...GIANT-MAN’S FOOT. SQUISH.
In the movie, it was Tony fighting several outriders before Cull knocked into rubble and was about to rip his armor off using his blade, before Peter webs Cull Obsidian and puts him in Giant man's path.
So this part would not be canon. (Or the writers confused cull and outriders, which isn't a big deal exactly) or the plan to have multiple culls was scrapped.
Also, nowhere is any evidence of more than one cull so there's that.
CLINT FIGHTING THROUGH THE HORDE, CARRYING THE GAUNTLET. A CULL HAMMERS CLINT, BUT THEN...T’CHALLA SLASHES THE CULL.
Another instance where script hints multiple culls but the movie changed it. T'Challa actially took out a few chitauri apes and outriders charging Clint.
ACROSS THE FIELD...WANDA LIFTS THANOS INTO THE AIR, RIPS HIS ARMOR OFF IN PIECES, THEN SLAMS HIM BACK TO THE GROUND
Another slight deviation from script. Thanos was suspended in air in the film.
STRANGE AND WONG CONJURE TWO HUGE RUNE SHIELDS TO SHORE UP THE BANK. MORE WIZARDS JOIN, CREATING A HUGE “RUNE LEVEE.”
Also in the movie it was strange alone who did it
Rocket looks up at...A COMET HEADING STRAIGHT FOR EARTH. GROOT (nervous) I am Groot. Rocket grins, knowing what’s coming. ROCKET Just wait for it. SUDDENLY, THE COMET VEERS...RIGHT TOWARD THE SHIP. BOOM! THE COMET TEARS THROUGH THE SANCTUARY-2, RIGHT OUT THE OTHER SIDE, REVEALING...CAROL DANVERS
Carol was compared to a comet, reaching from upper atmosphere to sea level in afew seconds.
ACROSS THE FIELD...EBONY MAW SENDS WANDA TUMBLING, BUT SHURI BLASTS HIM OUT OF THE SKY. CULL OBSIDIAN HAMMERS VALKYRIE, BUT NEBULA TAKES HIM OUT
Never happened in the movie. Once again, reinforces the multiple cull plan was likely scrapped.
SHE PUTS HER HEAD DOWN, FLYING FOR ALL SHE’S WORTH. BUT JUST AS SHE REACHES THE GAPING VAN DOORS... THANOS THROWS THE SPEAR...
Thanos used the sword in the film.
There isn't the Thor vs Thanos round 2 or Carol vs Thanos round 1 in the script. It just says Thanos "knocks others aside". Carol vs Thanos round 2 is described word-by-word exactly as it happened on screen.
Summary:
Carol > Thanos.
People seems to forget Thanos used a uru IG during the farm scene, we know by clear Carol was effecting him with his punches, just watch at x0.25 and the Headbutt proves it plus we know he had to cheat by writers for taking her out.
Multiple culls is nosense ?
@apex_pretador: That Clint/Nolan Batman comparison isn't good. They weren't hanging at the edge of the cliff like Batman and Ra's. They were in the middle of the side of Vormir hanging from a grappling hook. If Clint had failed to pull Nat upwards at the edge of the cliff then it'd be a comparison, but it's not valid cause that was impossible to do. Batman wouldn't be able to save Ra's (or Natasha) either in that situation.
Also, while I'm not sure what's really going on with these multiple Culls, I feel like what's been referred to as "Cull Obsidian" soecifically is the individual character we know from the Black Order.
@the_hajduk: I haven't noticed another Cull either, though I remember there was a discussion here when someone spotted one more Cull somewhere in a background.
Also I don't think it really devalues Cull. If it's true, it probably just means Thanos took few adopted children from Cull's race (as IW Cull was clearly a member of Black Order).
