End of MCU Eternals rating is very low for an MCU movie

Most Marvel movies start at 90s or 80s before going down. Eternals is starting at 70s.

Joker has a 68% on RT and it's in my top 3 CBMs. So yeah, I don't hold them in high regard.

It's really really stupid they changed Ajak to be a woman in the MCU instead being a man like in the original comics. Marvels excuse was "Not enough women in the Eternals team so lets genderswap Ajak".

Political correctness sucks.

Honestly, that wasn't a good excuse to be so harsh on Joker and rate that low.

Most superhero origin movies are basically the same. A lab experiment, discovering the powers, a bad guy with the same powers fighting the good guy to be number 1 then loses. And they were mostly rated higher than Joker.

Joker should have been between 75 to 80% especially when much crappier movies were rated much higher.

RT is just not reliable

I find the audience score more reliable.

Obviously this means the end of the MCU. Yes, yes Shang Chi scored a 92% on RT and even Black Widow got a 79%, so a lower 70’s Eternals is the death knell to the MCU and for Disney as a whole. Make way for more movies starring the Rock and Ryan Reynolds…oh wait, they both had pandemic-successful movies released by Disney this year. Seriously, the Eternals looks like it’s going to be a hard sell because it branches away from the typical Marvel. It’s a necessary experiment which may or may not prove to be a bust.

Now thats just flatout brain dead on the writers part.

Eternals is getting quite a few Reviews about it being Mediocre.
