This is something i believe writers often forget. In Emma Frost's diamond form she is numbed from any and all physical and emotional pain.
In other words, you can't hurt her. You either shatter her or she remains completely unharmed, and one of her current feats from Marauders in diamond form backs this up. She is slammed against a wall by Shaw, yet she doesn't even look hurt/scared/surprised
Yet here Gamora was able to do this to her:
Gamora makes Emma scream with a headbutt despite Emma having previously tanked attacks from numerous people ridiculously out of Gamora's league (World War Hulk and a Dreaming Celestial blast that opened a hole in Colossus (Emma only lost her arm after the second blast))
Overall Emma's diamond form has been extremely inconsistent as of recent in both strength and durability. As shown above she is physically strong enough to hurt Gamora, and also recently she has harmed Black Bolt with a punch to the throat:
Yet her strength says it caps off a 2 tons. The feats I mentioned are more reminiscent of someone with 10-20 ton lifting strength tbh.
Emma's durability has actually become extremely inconsistent as well actually. Previously she had obvious high tier durability. Recently she's been cracked by Medusa:
And she was hurt by Gamora (impossible technically)(The Magneto feat isn't really a low showing considering he was bloodlusted, but Medusa? LOL)
Overall it seems her strength has increased recently and her durability has become inconsistent. Has anyone else noticed this?
