(1) Valkorion/Vitiate: He sometimes failed to dominate the minds of weak Force-sensitives or even non-Force-sensitives, consciously walks into a lightsaber (WTF), gets killed by a Jedi Knight, gets killed by a stab from the back, failed to mind-control Revan even with external help for hundreds of years, etc.
(2) Palpatine/Sidious: Overpowered and kidnapped by one of his sexy hot female Dark Side adepts (Arden Lyn), nearly killed by a lung-melting virus, tried to run from Yoda after getting tossed across the room, beaten into submission by Windu (this one is controversial, though I think Palpatine feigned defeat).
(3) Marka Ragnos: defeated by a fifteen-year-old Jedi even when in the presence of a Dark Side nexus.
(4) Darth Nihilus: without his drain, he sucks at lightsaber dueling.
(5) Darth Tyranus: kidnapped by pirates and held captive.
(6) Grandmaster Luke: somehow fails to stomp Lumiya in a one-on-one duel, and was nearly overpowered a few times.
(6) Grandmaster Yoda: fails to stomp Dooku during their first confrontation (allowing the latter to escape), and gets wounded by Dooku during their second confrontation (although he won that fight).
So yeah, these guys are extremely powerful in the Force, but this doesn't mean that they are totally invincible. They still get defeated by opponents they should logically curbstomp.......
Is this just power level inconsistencies or what?
