Okay. So I know this is a taboo thing to say around these parts. And yes, I know he did the Tooth Fairy . And like many of you, I once thought the same, during the release of the Scorpion King. But it wasn't until Pain And Gain, that I became a believer. In pain (Not literally) Dwayne brought to life, one of the most interesting characters, I humbly think, in the last ten years.
That character is Paul Doyle.
Paul Doyle, was one of the most intriguing characters I'd seen on screen in a very long time. Unlike his partners in crime (Not to take anything away from Mackie & Walhberg) Paul had the most layers I think. He was so erratic and unpredictable. You never knew who you were going get.
Or the Thug. He went from a reformed ex-con, to a bumbling kidnapper, to a cocaine addict, seamlessly. I wish I could post videos to further prove my point; but sadly they are a bit too risque. So I'll leave you with this. Go to YouTube, look up 'Paul Doyle, then holla back a'cha boy.
