After some time waiting Duke Thomas's new Superhero identity was revealed in the title of the next Batman book

That's a pretty terrible name. They took that long to decide on it and 'The Signal' is the best they could do? Why are all the new black bat members getting named after Batman's equipment? First there was the guy named after Batman's plane and now Duke is named after a spotlight. I hope we get a black girl named Batarang next.

I agree with all of this. Batman just can't stop picking up disadvantaged orphans though. He does have a history of picking up orphans so it does kind of make sense, but there is just something about those two I don't like. They just seem so unnecessary

@rdclip: Not in my book.. Where is Harper Row now? That same will happened to Duke Thomas.. he will end up into oblivion the next reboot.

I don't feel anything towards Snyder's pet project characters. Not even dislike for them. I just don't care about Duke or Harper, hell I care more about Jason even though I strongly dislike Red Hood.

@lvenger: If they kill Duke Thomas probably he will be remembered. Even Mr. Bloom is forgettable.

Terrible name for a terrible character. However, the costume isn't that bad, at least it's something different.

The book is ending, I believe this is the replacement.

It's not surprising for people have typical responses when they see a big pile of shit.

Maybe if we complain loud enough, Duke will get killed off three issues in and the book will become Batman & Robin instead.

We didn't need three Batman books and All star defiently was the worse when compared to the normal batman book and Detective. Hope this works out for snyder, I actually liked Harper and Duke but not sure If I want them as main stay Bat family members....yet
