Does Superheroes from comics ever fight each other for a sparring/training match up or a tournament?

I'm wondering does any superhero from worlds of comics ever fight each other for a simple day of training or any superpowered tournaments for them at entertaining so many species of life in their epic brawling styles or any other ways by their own unique abilities?

Tournament would be kind of stupid but I think they train. Avengers used to and Damian’s TT does as well. JL probably trains too.
