Does Goku really have a limit?

Does he?

I'm not saying he is infinitely powerful, but has he ever reached a cap to his power?

He might not have any new transformations to achieve, but he still is always able to increase his physicals due to his physiology.

So, does he have a limit to his ability? Does he have a cap, a stopping point? Will he ever get to a point where he can't get any more powerful?

Edit: Some people believe him gaining a new transformation is overcoming a limit, this is false. Transformations just multiply his base power, which he can always increase.

Example: SSJ2 Adult Gohan couldn't defeat Dabura. Meanwhile Goku/Vegeta were confident they could defeat him as SSJ1s, meanwhile in the previous arc Gohan was the strongest, but since Goku/Vegeta trained while Gohan didn't, they got stronger while Gohan didn't.

Considering that the story progress of Dragon Ball is driven mainly by ridiculous power creep, Goku is limited only by Toriyama's willingness to milk the franchise.

He has limit,but he can overcome them.

Goku's limit is whatever latest version of Super Saiyan he's ascended to.

Given the nature of Dragon Ball, I would actually say he's "more" limitless than Superman. In the DC multiverse, there's a supreme being that Superman will never measure up to regardless of how much power he amasses. However, gods and kais are already fodder in Dragon Ball so there's no limit cap for Goku at all. Then, seeing as how the series revolves around getting stronger, I can easily see Goku becoming the undisputed #1 in the Universe.....without feats to back it up lolololol

Unless Saiyan zenkias and stuff were retconned out, he should technically be limitless. I also doubt he would continue to train and push himself if he thought he couldn't progress any further. Not saying he would ever stop training, but I don't think he would need to keep going to king kias and stuff like that if he couldn't get stronger/improve.

I think goku is still yet to reach a limit even though mastered ultra instinct is insanely overpowered. For example when his body has reached the physical fitness required to stack kioken,ssgss and super saiyan 4 (i mean giant ape) ontop of mastered ultra instinct. Ooh now thats something we all want to see.

Goku has the power to overcome his limits. He always has a limit during any particular time and place, but he can overcome that limit on the spot if he really puts enough focus into it. Then he has a new limit to reach and eventually break.

Goku has a limit, it's just that his Saiyan biology gives him enough power to reach new heights. We've seen what MUI can do to Goku's body and I think it's safe to say even he can only reach so far before exploding. After all, he is only mortal. He might be able to attain something even higher than Ultra Instinct but I think he should cap out at Angel level at his max. Even one with such incredible willpower and endurance can be overwhelmed by sheer, pure godly power.

His potential really is limitless until, of course, he ages and dies, and that might not even happen since ki is lifeforce energy and the amount Goku has should keep him alive forever

So it depends on where his power is at the time, I guess.

he isnt limitless like him being omnipotent or something like that but he does not have a limiter in how much power he can get trough training. basically can get stronger and stronger without stopping at some point. thats saiyans blood
