Gunn is easily far more talented than him and is a much better director. Firing Cavill was a great choice. Gunn wants actors that can act.

Bad casting? Bad dialogue? How far does the beard go down your neck, buddy? Those are two high points of the DCEU, excluding one or two miscasts.

He strayed from the source material with the characters, sure, but I doubt we will ever see the quality visuals and action that Snyder delivered.

Let’s not anoint Gunn yet. He’s not writing Guradians of the Galaxy or Peacemaker, so if the tone matches those for Superman, we will see a larger #restorethesnyderverse movement.

Maybe, but that doesn’t change that Affleck, Cavill, Gadot, Shannon, Momoa, Dafoe, Simmons, Fishburne, Irons, Adams, Crowe, Lennix, Meloni, and Costner and many others were all well cast.

There are so many bright spots in the casting, but neck beards who definitely know how to make multimillion dollar movies can cast better.

As far as dialogue goes, you have to focus on the bad parts and completely skip over the good/great parts to say it’s not a bright spot.

You can't really argue that Iron Man 1, Thor 3, Captain America Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, Endgame, Guardians 1+2 , Black Panther, Avengers, Ant-Man and Doctor Strange are infinitely better than all DCEU movies.

Latest phase for the most part was trash but we had great NWH and AMAZING Guardians 3.

Banner and Natasha had chemistry and buildup unlike Clark with Lois. The authors just didn't explore their relationship properly.

I agree that MJ casting is bad and that making Valkyrie a lesbian is stupid. But 99% of american media suffers from this woke infection these days. Not limited to MCU. And at least Guardians 3 didn't have that.

It is a very basic dialogue in both cases. The comic book one is even corny (most noble and kindest nation in the world my ass).

The video made me laugh when Clark said "he thinks he's above the law". Cavill can't act for shit, lmao. The delivery is awful.

There was some decent stuff to come out of it. I liked Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Aquaman, BvS Extended Cut. I don't think I would outright like it to not exist, it was entertaining.
