Do you think every male characters that wants to be called manly should not have long hair?

it depenfs on how there hair looks.

If you style your long hair I don't think it's too manly. Just not trimming or cutting hair is manly imo, but that's a personal understanding of "manly"

Not really. I don't think long hair detracts from a man's manliness.

Jason Momoa has pretty long hair for a guy, and he's pretty much the embodiment of masculinity, as is every character he plays (Aquaman, Declan Harp, etc).
