Do you think any Infinity War fight scenes will outclass the Superman vs Zod fight scene from MOS
Lol no. Marvel fights pale in comparison. Sure they have good ones like Ragnorak and Winter Soldier, but as a whole they aren’t on par with the DCEU(let’s not talk about Suicide Squad).
Does it matter ? I doubt it actually. It will be focused more on the story and development further into the universe. Action wise BvS will be better. Unless they show some crazy fist fighting and skills which again is in a huge doubt.
No, the Marvel characters just feel more toned down in comparison to the DCEU. I hope so however because they need to do Thanos some justice and not have him be some street or mid tier level villain. With the Infinity Gauntlet into play now, there's no excuse for them not giving us some epic stuff on par with the DCEU stuff. Hell, they can make superior action scenes outright while maintaining a good story, something the DCEU really needs to work on.
- Warehouse Scene
- Airport War
- Elevator fight
- X2 Mansion fight
- Logan's beserker Rage
- X-23 vs The Revers
- Spiderman Train fight
were all better and I could go on

Yes easily there's no argument for MOS even having good fight scenes in the first place. Destruction porn is the only reason people like it in the first place
The fight sucked. It was literally just two powerful guys hammering each other into buildings.
Marvel fights aren’t on the same ‘power scale’ but in terms of choreography and just straight up enjoyment I can name plenty of fights that are already better....
OT: there will probably be multiple fights that top it.

you expected less of a fight involving superman?

I noticed that your list has very little fully cgi fights. I can respect this list but as far as cgi fights go, particularly in the relm of a live action superman, you guys have to admit MoS fight was great.
Zod v Superman was a video game fight, sonic booms don't make a fight good. OT: Undoubtedly.
Lol see my comment above I meant to address you too.
@thebeardofzues: pfff, I expect a fellow anime fan to appreciate the best live action dragonball fight that was MoS lulz. That stated, a bit off topic but are you watching boruto? I think the anime is about to retell the boruto movie.
The Clark/Zod fight was terrible. It wasn't very engaging in any way imaginable and just had 2 people hitting each other through buildings. It was a very lazy fight and went completely against Clark's character.
The unofficial footage of Thanos throwing a moon already beats that. This topic is laughable.
@heatforce: there is no think, it is retelling the movie

How did the fight go against Clarks character when his character was being esablished in the film? This is a reboot, you have the reeves and Ruth movies.

I know but I mean the anime is finally catching up. Plus I have a better feeling about this retelling compared to others. We get 3 otsutsuki's, momoshikis awesome transformation from the Manga (hopefully) and toneri should be involves too.

Possibly because early in the film it shows him doing things to save people, then in the fight with Zod he willingly lets people die due to collateral damage from the fight.

He saved people by fighting zod. Zod stated that he would kill all humans because Clark took his people from him. If Zod were only after superman then I could undestand the whole "try and change locations" bit but Zod isn't nice like some dragonball villains.
@noone1996: hulk vs hulk buster was that scene.
@heatforce: a little at a time I watch it, I'm not caught up yet.

That would not be enough for a person like Clark that risked losing his secret identity twice before even becoming Superman, to save everyone he could. Allowing people to come to harm because of his fight with Zod is completely out of character for him. Yes, he tried to take it to space once, but he could have tried harder to take the fight somewhere they wouldn't allow innocent people to come to harm. And at the point that they were actually fighting, Zod WAS only after Superman. He could have lured him to a safer place rather than destroying half the city in the fight and causing many many deaths.
@heatforce: in the school bus scene he saved all those kids and the driver by pushing the bus out of the water. And as a young adult, he wanted to save people in the tornado scene. And he broke Zod's neck to save that family.
It's pretty clear that he wants to save people, not kill them by punching an alien through buildings.
@rr79: go back and watch that scene. Superman is still dizzy from being tossed into space and then he gets a satellite thrown at him. This type of fight is no stranger to superman or his history. When we get to the animated movie of the death of superman hopefully youll see my point. Even go back and watch some DCAU episode, sometimes superman wrecks a city.
