Nope, his films are too gimmicky for my taste and has that fake-deep quality into it.

Yes. Definitely a top 10 director of all time.

Yes; he tackles odd takes like Memento and Inception in a fairly easy to understand way. He also handled big blockbuster films well; like his Batman trilogy, The Prestige, etc.

The only down side is he tends to take the serious approach; kind of like Snyder but not as extreme - which can be polarizing. But he's nowhere near as bad for the srsbznz style as Snyder is so his films are easier to market while being comparable in terms of overarching moodiness.

Honestly i hate his Batman movies, the sub context is just way too childish/immature for my taste. But i love everything else he has done so far. His name will be remembered for long years i am sure of that.

Even with the flaws those films are still the pinnacle of the genre.

Yes, I liked all of the Dark Knight movies.

Yes, but he's fallen off somewhat. Memento, Inception and Interstellar are some of my favorite movies. But he's not the most technically sound writer, he just comes up with grand ideas and does a decent, not perfect job of executing them. Compared to 90% of the trash that's on the Hollywood conveyor belt, he's a good director.

To me he does deliver in the mundane ex. Dunkirk, and gets lost in science fiction ex. Tenet.

Still, he is obviously at the top of the class, but currently behind Denis Villeneuve.

Definitely because I can't think of any Nolan movies that bad. Some are ok like tenent or memento.

They have as much depth as a puddle, and they're only really good for the memes. They appeal to people who easily buy into philosophical ramblings.
