Like, any character examples? I know Ironman is roughly island level in strength, and Thing is continent level easily (far stronger than Ironman). Anyone as strong as Thing is a high tier to me, no longer a mid tier.
Do you know any mid tiers that can lift a small country?
Does he have any feats for that?
Yh Onoike has a technique to make anything he touches heavily lightened, really old Onoike lifted a small island with one hand casually with that technique

Small island is dozens of times weaker than lifting a entire country, lol. That scaling is way too nonsensical to accept, even if we did highball.
OT: Digger is a guy who lost to Spider-Man but was also directly stated to be as strong as Savage Hulk at his limits. Take that for what you will.

U don't get it?? His technique made a small island as light as a feather and that was when he was a really old man with severe back pain issues, a Prime Onoike should be able to life a small country with his technique
@professorrespect: Did Digger manage to land a punch on Spider-Man? That Hulk level things seems to be a stretch.

As stated, that's a really big stretch to make: we don't know how potent he was in his prime or how strong he was, but measuring that from "he picked up a small island" is pretty nonsensical and too much of a logical leap to make with the information presented.
@professorrespect: Did Digger manage to land a punch on Spider-Man? That Hulk level things seems to be a stretch.
The few times he did get a clean shot in he almost knocked the guy out. He's basically a glass cannon whom has close to Savage Hulk levels of strength but is held back by his weak endurance

Fair enough but the difference between his really old severe back pain aching self and his younger days self should be massive, prime should be able to lift it but not with so much ease like his really old back aching self did to a small island
Well it depends on what definition of "small country" you use.
I forget what it's called but there is a Country the size of a city, that is a "small country" and in that case Onoki from Naruto should lift it.

Another thing to note. Smallest named islands are still as big as Mount Everest, I can give you examples if you want. A "small island" is huge, let's not forget.

Vatican City? It's legally a country but it's less than a mile wide.

I think there would be a difference: either or not that difference would be massive, small, or moderate is unknown.
@professorrespect: If he has close to Savage Hulk level strength he should realistically one-shot Spider-man, the rest is fair game though regarding to endurance/durability though. Really shows Peter's ability to defeat people who physically outclass him.
What does qualify as a Small Country, Japan, Korean peninsula?
Turkey is the average country size, according to this: http://geography.about.com/od/lists/a/averagecountry.htm
Japan is half as big as Turkey, it's a small country
@professorrespect: If he has close to Savage Hulk level strength he should realistically one-shot Spider-man, the rest is fair game though regarding to endurance/durability though. Really shows Peter's ability to defeat people who physically outclass him.
Well he didn't, but "realistically" Peter should be wet mush when a guy like Juggs or Hulk hits him even somewhat seriously, so I think the suspension of disbelief counts here. Would have a point if Peter actually knocked him out, but he didn't: he had to basically exhaust him to death

So what you're saying is Digger isn't as strong as high tiers? Guys like Juggernaut and Hulk have feats to place them as being capable of one-shotting Spider-man, this isn't the case with Digger. The guy doesn't have anything to put him anywhere near Hulk level other than a statement from Peter and a handbook. He's definitely far stronger than Peter though.
@professorrespect: that's the one, and I believe that's probably the only way to get a mid tier lifting a "small country"
@decaffeinated: You think islands like Sicily is above Mid Tier? Yes or no?
Does he have any feats for that?

The island lifted had multiple mountains with multiple mountain sized beasts that lives there
I feel like if you can lift a small country you aren't mid tier. You are bordering on high tier at that point.
So lifting Japan is high tier to you, not mid tier? Then lifting an entire continent must be herald tier, then, right?
Seriously, Mid Tier is the "middle", not the high. Small countries aren't big enough to even justify as "high" when you got continent busters and moon busters to contend with. It's still mid tier.
The terms High, mid-tiers are vague enough themselves but how they relate to the "power levels" is even more vague.
Pluto for example is the size of australia (a bit smaller), the moon is smaller than Asia.
And the problem with most Marvel and DC mid tiers (Marvel Ares, she hulk etc) is that they lack any "objective"/inanimate feat that allows us to see that. High tiers and low tiers certanly can but mid tiers....idk
Onoki is a good bet tho. He lifted that moon with only one arm casually and flew a large distance with it.A smaller country
as this discussion is really abstract right now here is an image so whe can have a better understanding of sheer scale
@asgardianweapon: That pretty much proves what I've been saying all along. Most countries are far too small to even qualify as high tier, and a ton are island sized. Destroying an entire continent would be high tier, since Herald > High tier. According to statistics, Turkey is average country sized, so large "country" level is...India?
I mean, come on! Destroying France is not high tier, we got continent busters and moon busters to contend with.

You know what? I think you are incorrect. Yes, destroying an continent would be high tier no doubt
But as i stated before the terms are quite vague and many times, quite wrong.
For example: Some of the solar system bigger moons are located at Saturn and Jupiter. So it´s a good measure of what moon size means in fiction, let´s see the size of enceladus one of saturn biggest moons:
Don´t know about the validity of those images but eyeballing seems quite close to it´s surface area: 798,648.27 km2 acording to nasa. France´s territorial area? 643.801 km²
There are some bigger moons of course
Remember everything up to our moon (maybe io too) is, in fact, smaller than asia.Triton, the first "big boy" moon has a mere 23 million square km so not that different to russia´s 16 //.Big boy titan over there is bigger than mercury which is what most people think when we say "small planet". The point being that there is def a overlap here between all those labels
So maybe moon busting is in some cases does equal to "low" country busting. It is what it is man
@asgardianweapon: Comparing our Asia to our moon is like comparing a piece of paper to a base ball.
Like sure the paper(Asia) has more surface area, but it has less volume and is in fact, harder to destroy than a baseball(Moon)
Pretty much; busting the face of a continent will never be as impressive than destroying something with the volume of our moon.
@whathappened: Turkey is actually on the higher end of country sizes.
The average size off a country is 737,459 square km, which just slightly below size of Zambia. (which is the closest country to the average size)
Just out of curiosity, I figured out that it would take about 303 Gigatons of tnt to bust Zambia, so that's something I guess.
