Do you have more passion for DC or Marvel?

I tend to like more Marvel characters than DC, but I enjoy reading DC more.. if that makes any sense. So I vote DC

There is a lot of DC love out there. Too bad their books are crap.

I like both but at the moment Marvel.

Lol, I know right? They overpower all their superheroes way too much, it's hard to enjoy their stories.

DC Comics. I actually care about many of the characters. I've really tried getting into Marvel. I've ready many Marvel comics, but for whatever reason I don't feel any connection to their characters.

Pretty much this.

I've gradually shifted toward DC over the years. When I was younger (coming up through middle school and high school) it used to be Marvel. This was mainly because I fell in love with the 90's X-Men and Spider-man cartoons, and that got me into the wider world of Marvel comics.

I still really enjoy reading a lot of Marvel characters, such as Hulk, Gambit, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man(Peter Parker), but I've really come to appreciate DC's stuff more and more over the years. For me, DC is like smoked Gouda cheese, whereas Marvel is more like Kraft Cheddar. I'd much rather have the Cheddar goodness on my sandwich, but I can eat that smoke Gouda any time and any place. :)

Wow, same here. I bought a lot of the hype about grim/dark/serious Marvel, but as I got older I realized a lot of that is pandering, and isnt as cool as I though.

As a whole I'd say DC but currently I think I'm enjoying Marvel titles more.

As of now between these two, DC, but only by a hair. Out of all the publishers whose stuff I read I'd have to say Image, Valiant, then DC and Marvel.

DC is where my heart is but I have a strong passion for Spider-Man and X-Men that eclipses a lot of DC.

I like individuals, not the companies. Both write a lot more things I don't like than I do. But at the moment I read more Marvel. But I prefer individual heroes over saying a preference of one company over another.

I care more about the top of DC but the bottom of Marvel

DC has better characters e.g JL, batman, superman, ww, green lantern

I prefer dc's comics mainly because they have writers like Morrison and johns (Snyder)

Marvel has not made a movie as good as the dark knight

DC's beware the batman is better than any marvel tv show atm however that may change with agents of shield

Arkham series beats any marvel game and tasm even copied it really badly

The more Marvel comics I read, the less I like them. The whole universe just bores me. Nothing but Avengers, mutants and the occasional Spider-Man.

That's all opinion.

And I hate Beware the Batman (and this is a batman fan,here).

And I say that Avengers stomps every Batmovie,and they have far more variety in their movies and vastly more,rather than the usual Batman. Besides Watchmen (which failed,but I thought was kinda good),Green Lantern (which bombed),what has DC made other than Batman and Superman?

Anyway,ever since the new 52,Marvel to the point that it's not even a competition. Pre-new 52,they are equals to me.

Anyhow,many of these reasons for dislike (of either company) are really inaccurate and ignorant and even one-sided.

It's like some of you only read what's in your own company,put a label on the others based on ignorance and generalize them.

And that's their opinion. For God sakes,some things they are right in. DC is a bit outdated in some things.

I mean,maybe you disagree with their opinion (I might disagree a bit,as well),but that doesn't really give you a right to insult them.

And to be fair,a character like Lobo really IS outdated. It's part of his character (that's a basic fact) since he was meant to be a parody of the 90s.
