Difference Between Reality Warping and Magic

What is the difference between reality warping and magic?

Well I guess you could argue that a character could warp-reality through means other than magic (where magic is an energy that science cannot yet explain - that some people are able to manipulate). Beyond that, IDK.

That they aren't the same thing? So you ask the question, what are the similarities between magic and reality warping and after you answer that question, everything you didn't answer is the answer to your title question.

In other words it depends how you define magic and reality warping.

Conjuration, Summoning, Elemental Manipulation, Sprit Manipulation, ect. You must either a) call upon a god for a desire effect or b) ritual to be completed or c) use of unexplained energy for a desired effect.

Reality Warping is about possibilities.

You reality warp by pick and choosing possibilities that were not there before or have yet to come to pass.

That is the key difference is method.

Science is working within the laws of our universe.

Reality Warping or Magic Breaks them.

Magic generally involves a rule, incantation, sacrifice or trade off.

Reality warping is just random crap happening to facilitate a plot point.

Method to achieve = magic

End result = warped reality
