@rajjarsalt: that’s what I’m trying to find because so many people say he got knocked out but we have 0 evidence + I think his arm moved up when he got into the water
He wasn't seen for a bit after the explosion and landing in the water, IMHO I guess so. People use this same logic when trying to say doomsday was knocked out by the nuke because we dont see him for 13 seconds or namek was KOd because we dont see him for 10 seconds when it was expclicty shown that he was on his knees and doomsday was evolving. In other words its varies by fandom, DCEU fans- Yes, MCU fans- No.
Thor Stan’s truly are shameless. thor has never not once in any canon appearance just gone for a swim lol. Does he even know how to swim?
but of course, he decided to dive thousands of feet into the ocean where an entire island of debris is dropping over his head just for a swim. Also, he must have made sure to toss mjolnir away as well, for…. Reasons
But sure, since his hands moved after he fell into water, he can’t possibly have been ko’d
I guess cap was going for a swim here as well, right?
As you would expect, his arms are pushed up by the force of the water he’s hitting before sinking lower once he slows down
@DammeFavour: The sudden increase of pressure? What are you talking about dude? He's like 10 feet deep. If anything were to happen to make his arm move up, it would be hitting the water at the surface.
Also, water pressure does not work like that. The pressure is pushing down on him. Not up.
Uh huh, so I guess you would argue cap moves his arms here as well?
I also like how you straight up ignored the rest of my post & chose to hone in on the single thread you could grasp at. Thor had no reason to go diving when for all he knew, ultron was still a threat to the entire world
but you would have me believe that he decided to let go of his hammer, fall thousands of feet through the air without recalling mjolnir, into the ocean without making a single attempt to return to the surface… for what? Oh yeah, cause it suits your bias

First of all, I thought you meant underwater, and that's why I was confused.
Second of all, Sokovia is below cloud level when it explodes.
Third of all, it takes just 7 seconds for the rubble to reach the water.
Uh huh, so I guess you would argue cap moves his arms here as well?
This gif literally debunks your whole point. LOL. In the gif that you showed, Cap's hands move up when hitting the water because of the impact. Then they move down because they are no longer being pushed up by impact with water. The opposite happens with Thor. His arms are out when he falls, then, a whole fifth of a second later, his hand moves up in a paddle motion. Then he sinks a tad more, then his arm moves AGAIN.
I also like how you straight up ignored the rest of my post & chose to hone in on the single thread you could grasp at.
I ignored it because the points made are so easily debunkeable, they don't warrant my response. I will do so anyway,
Thor had no reason go diving when for all he knew, ultron was still a threat to the entire world
First of all, Ultron was destroyed at this moment for all that Thor knew.
but you would have me believe that he decided to let go of his hammer, fall thousands of feet through the air without recalling mjolnir,
Thor had around 10 seconds in the air before crashing into the water. Mjolnir, which is a light weight and dense object was hit by kiloton explosion, meaning it went thousands of feet to who knows where, while Thor, who is much less dense, and heavier did not go as far. This puts several thousand feet between them. Now factor in that Thor had 10 seconds to recall Mjolnir, which only goes so fast when in close proximity to Thor, and the fact that there was material flying everywhere possibly intercepting Mjolnir's path.
into the ocean without making a single attempt to return to the surface… for what? Oh yeah, cause it suits your bias
@goldeneagle: so no counter to the fact that Thor never made one attempt to return to the surface, typical.
Mjolnir can hang on a coat hanger & a coffee table. It doesn’t weigh more than Thor. as usual you pull made up shit out of your ass in order to make Thor appear more impressive than he is, why is that? Not to mention Thor, having more surface area, would take more of the blast than like a square foot area hammer. stop pretending youre some physics expert. i never even took physics & I know you havent either
the fact that you use

Why would it take him any time to recall mjolnir if he was conscious the whole time? You’re literally making up that mjolnir flew to space or whatever so Thor couldn’t recall it within seconds because youre coping. He fell in the water & never once attempted to swim up to the surface. His arms swaying as he’s sinking isn’t anymore indication of consciousness as it is for cap in the gif I posted twice

The camera was on him for less than two seconds, and half of it was him splashing down. He swung his arm. How would he be able to do that while conscious? He did make an attempt. He swung his arm after going underwater. Also, why would he swim out if he can just call Mjlonir now that there's no obstacles, which he would do by your own logic?
Mjolnir can hang on a coat hanger & a coffee table. It doesn’t weigh more than Thor.
I literally said it weighs less. Don't just skim what I say.

Yeah, he would take more of the blast, but he is far lighter, and the explosion came from beneath him, so it would affect his cross sectional area.
stop pretending youre some physics expert.
I'm not. It is logic that everybody should be able to figure out.
i never even took physics
Yeah. I can tell. LOL
& I know you havent either
How do you know what I've not taken? LOL
Why would it take him any time to recall mjolnir if he was conscious the whole time?
Because Mjolnir takes time to come to Thor. That's why.
You’re literally making up that mjolnir flew to space or whatever so Thor couldn’t recall it within seconds because youre coping.
I said thousands of feet away. Not into space.
He fell in the water & never once attempted to swim up to the surface. His arms swaying as he’s sinking isn’t anymore indication of consciousness as it is for cap in the gif I posted twice
Except in the Cap gif, he did not move his arm against the water. LOL
I literally said it weighs less. Don't just skim what I say.
Yeah, he would take more of the blast, but he is far lighter
you’re such a troll lol. You switch up your stance every sentence lol. First you say mjolnir weighs less, then say Thor is far lighter. What a joke. This will be the last time I entertain your nonsense

"Mjolnir which is a light weight and dense object...while Thor, who is much less dense, and heavier"
@w3b: Lighter in that sentence is obviously talking about density dude. LOL. Mjolnir weighs less, but is denser and smaller. Thor is heavier but lighter.
The amount of mental gymnastics here in insane. Did the flying superhero suddenly choose to fall into the water by his own volition and then start swimming in a wau suspiciously consistent with how his arms would move if he fell into the water?

Lol this, idk why it's so hard to accept something that happened on screen...
@darkphantom9895: The script does not mention anything about Thor being knocked out, but the novel says that Thor was in the lake sinking, and that Iron Man will have to find him later. Novels aren't usually considered canon though, or else we get stuff like Zod making Superman bleed with fistfulls of steel. Plus some of the details in the book are a bit off. I'm reading it right now.
My view on this is Thor was LIKELY knocked out. Had he remained conscious after striking the core, Thor wouldn't have hit the water; we've seen Thor be capable of calling mjolnir in a similar time frame/ Thor and Mjolnir are fast, too fast to not recover mid air. Because he hit the water and continued to sink before the scene cuts, I don't see anything that points to him being conscious. There are no statements to back up either view. This is just an educated guess on my part.
@w3b: he could have just relaxed into the fall since ultrons plan was thwarted and the mission was accomplished, he had no reason to do anything else, he knew ultron was erased off the net and was useless,
Stop personally targeting people/ thor stans!! Just say something about thor if your so 💔, your likely to get banned if you keep this up.
