Diana's Wonder Woman 2009 movie design pretty or ugly?

I watched Wonder Woman 2009 animated movie yesterday and i noticed Diana looks uglier than all the other females in the movie.Ironically ugliest woman in Wonder Woman animated movie is Wonder Woman herself.Diana is supposed to be prettiest female in her own movie.

Its still better than other animated designs of Diana tho.Long hair and costume made her look pretty but not prettier than other women.

What are your thoughts on her design?Do you like it or do you think its ugly?

Beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. I think she looks fine. Diana's look follows in line with all of the character designs in that direct-to-video feature.

@Penguin-Dust true she looks fine af but i am just saying her face looks uglier than other female characters in the movie which shouldn't have been the case because its her own movie and out of all other women Steve finds her most attractive even tho other women look prettier

@ted619: No, I mean... why is it important that Diana isn't "beautiful" in a movie? First, the concept of beauty is entirely subjective. Secondly, her character isn't based on beauty in the first place and to complain about her not being hot in a film sorta goes against her entire Feminist icon purpose.

Somehow, I don't think anyone would make a thread about why Superman looks odd in an animated film. :/

@wollfmyth209 I always thought she was supposed to be "Beautiful" I mean she dresses in a swim suit exposing most of her skin with untied long hair and usually has pretty face in the comics.If she wasn't supposed to be beautiful they would have designed a different costume for her that does not expose most of her skin and they wouldn't have tried to sexualize her and heck they casted Gal Gadot for her live action movie instead of a lady who doesn't look much beautiful.

She looks better than the current animated WW. But yeah she could lot more powerful, beautiful with more fleshed out character

@ted619: I don't get those extra-large hair bangs they gave her. Looks 70s. She would have been prettier without them. A nice hair trim would cause her no harm.

@nucleon: you don't like her super long hair? I think long hair suits her and make her more attractive and they always give her extra large hair in animated movies (crisis on two earths, jl warverse in which she even ties her hair but I hate her tied hair )

@ted619: Animated Pocahontas does have long, beautiful hair without the exagerated front bangs that makes her look as if she wore a cap underneath her hair. Look at them - they're about as wide as her face.

Big lips in cartoons makes females look more like females so i ain't complaining about that lol except anime, almost in every cartoon women have big lips
