Debunking the Thor Pillar Lowball

People for some reason think that Thor was bruised by this stone pillar.

This is based on nothing but an incomplete assumption.

If you actually watch the scene, we never actually see Thor's face until after Ultron hits him

This means that there is no evidence at all that Thor was actually bruised by the stone.

The rumor started simply because somebody lied about what happened to lowball him, or got it incorrect, and for some reason the myth stuck.

The closest we get to seeing his face is this frame, but there is nothing on it that was not already on it before he was hit.

Its fiction. Characters use mundane objects against each other all the time. I wouldn’t consider it a low end even if he bled since its Vibranium Ultron’s power behind it

Plus gravity manip means the pillar could have hit with a lot more force!

@w3b: Unlike Black Adam, Thor can't levitate and control his body's positions in 3 dimensions, so his body mass being moved is not under his control, but nice try.

@w3b: He can brace against his own flight ability. It is just a matter of something moving his body mass. A diamond is far stronger than me but I can still rag doll it, and send it flying with a punch.

His face has got blood on it, but his arm is just covered in dirt. Dirt turns a darker color when mixed with sweat

The above gif is also terrible quality.

Here is a far less saturated image. For all that grime and stuff to be blood, he would have to have a visible wound.

@DammeFavour: That is not blood. That is a totally different color. Dude, have you never been outside before? That is clearly sweat and dirt. What you are arguing is that his arm is completely covered in blood with not a single visible scratch.

This is a scratch. Talk about a different color. It is far darker. Not to mention, this cut which is faaaar larger than any blemish on Thor's skin has a minimal amount of bleeding.

This is what it looks like when dirt gets wet.

ALSO,

Thor's arm was not even hit with the pillar in the first place. It hits his face at an angle.

First gif on the right of his arm looks slightly reddened. One of three things

1. Cast Shadowing (there environment is also kind of reddish)

2. Great cinematography especially with the skin tone

3. It was bloody, but cleared in the next gif, just proves the man has an amazing healing factor.
