Poll DCEU Superman hit Zod 6000 miles debunked. (34 votes)

Your right thats not hitting someone 6000 miles. 85%
Your wrong that is hitting someone 6000 miles. 15%

I got into a debate and some claims were made.

Ill put the counter argument (Superman did hit someone 6000 miles) right here under the spoiler block.

This is copy and pasted from another user.

OT Thor gets his face stomped in for getting hurt by 300 mile punches when superman is hitting people 6000 miles and laughing. Hitting someone from the exosphere back to earth and laughing = thor gets his face beat in. Basic stuff really.

------

My opinion.

Superman didnt HIT Zod 6000 miles.

Superman didnt hit Zod to space at all, Superman got tackled to space by Zod, while they were both flying and fighting.

There is a difference between that tackle ^^ and these single hits that are launching their opponents into other countries.

No Caption Provided

See thats a single impact, same with when Thor did it to CM...its not the same as a tackle then flying with someone to space.

----

Furthermore Carol also tackled Thor to space, and threw him down; and he kinda felt it.

---

Tackling another flying guy, then flying with him to space =/= punching someone to space.

----

What do you think CV.

Superman didn’t ‘hit’ anyone 6000 miles.. repeating that he did when he factually didn’t is insane.

the only part of your post i managed to see

threw zod from stratosphere to exosphere
threw zod from stratosphere to exosphere
falls from exosphere to earth 6200 miles
falls from exosphere to earth 6200 miles

didnt see the rest didnt even try to

@bestintheworld:

Well im glad you stopped saying Superman has hit people 6000 miles and are now admitting its a throw(with gravity).. but still you should check out the OP, CM and Thor have the same thrown from space feat.

But hitting someone to another country with a single impact >>>> throwing someone from space...can we agree to that?

It was flooding that thread so I figured we could discuss it in detail here.

What do you think about the topic at hand?

Ye, that it’s animated gives license to do more with less budget restrictions.

What do you think of the DCEU Superman claims?

@death4bunnies: he didn't punch Zod into spacr and while throwing Zod from space to earth is cool, there is the issue of earth's gravity well giving an assist. I haven't watched this episode so I dunno the context for CM v Thor.

Honest question .. do you think spamming the same thing over and over is what a debate is?
Or do you hope that spamming it will discourage others from reading the comments that are not yours?

You don’t have to debate ofc, but I’ll keep reminding the vine that your factually wrong on this one…that hitting someone accross country’s with a single blow >>> throwing someone from space.(which you previously claimed was a strike, and won’t concede that it’s not as impressive because gravity was helping)

And I’ll keep reminding everyone that Thor was literally thrown from space too.

And as Heatforce said, Earths gravity should HELP him when he threw him and not hinder him. Which makes it even less impressive compared to Thor and Captain Marvel..

Didnt bother reading that either. bunny you can save that make 5 more threads save it and repeat it over and over again was superman laughing? Thats not even my OG post... I was clearly exaggerating but my point was clear... .but again...this is what you think debating is.....arguing points that dont matter....lowballing...baiting...if other people want to waste the energy on you then thats them....

idc what you think science is or what you consider impressive...im showing you and others....FACTS...not your opinion or your thoughts

But why do you keep showing the throw from space, when Thor has tanked that same thing (barely felt it by his measure) and can you accept hitting someone across countries with a single strike is better than throwing someone downward, with gravity, from space?

And can you admit Thor gets thrown from space right in that gif without damage?

The throw of Superman he show is clearly showing Superman actually struggle to get up, while Thor is clearly not hurt at all by it.

Here’s the thing.. only Superman’s was a drop.. he was falling from space.

Carol hit Thor 4,430 miles across the earth, without gravity assistance.. and it wasn’t a tackle but a single impact.

Yes being hit with a single impact 4,000 miles across earth >>> being thrown from space.

Again can you at least admit Thor was also thrown from space? And that a punch that launches you across continents is better than being thrown from space?? Or Not?

Something i want to add, satellite orbits arent at a fixed altitude and there are a lot of them below 2000 km and one that is only 164 km and apparently LEO satellites are typically in 500 km altitude.

Also both MoS and What If scenes have cuts.

Calling Thor hurt(when he says he barely felt it) and Superman not hurt while he’s laying there is a reach for sure… your cut up gifs speak for themselves.

But again I’m glad your admitting now that Superman never punched anyone 6000 miles and that you were exaggerating .. be nice if you could admit gravity helped him throw a dude 6000 miles down from space, and if you’d admit Thor has a feat of being thrown from space and getting up faster.. oh and that a single impact launching people 4000+ miles from England to America is better than throwing someone down from space.

(also it says many satellites are that high, not all .. as NW explains in post 37).. but even if it was as high as you claim it’s still not as good as hitting people across countries.
