DC's Legends of Tomorrow Not Coming Out in 2015

The CW released its fall 2015 schedule today (vie EW) and one of the biggest surprises was that the Arrow and Flash spinoff, Legends of Tomorrow was nowhere to be found. Arrow and The Flash will come back and iZombie will return in the fall as well, but the highly-anticipated new DC show will not.

It's apparent that Legends of Tomorrow will not hit the CW until 2016. Arrow, The Flash, and iZombie will all retain their current time slots for the upcoming fall.

You can see in the promo image that Caity Lotz (Sara Lance) is playing White Canary (returning from the dead somehow). Also, Arthur Darvill (Rory on Doctor Who) is Rip Hunter. He's on The Flash Episode 23. Vandal Savage was revealed as the villain for the show.

Poor Captain Lance...how many times does he have to go through his daughter's death and revival? So much for heart complications.

I think they are planning to air it during midseason break. Like ABC did with Agent Carter.

It was always going to be a mid season series though. Also cool using the White Canary name (but man I really hope she gets to pay Nisa a visit)

Looks like Vandal Savage has been announced as the villain of the show!

I hope they eventually have the Atom be more like the Atom instead of DC's version of Iron Man. Also, I'm not that familiar with Green Arrow and Batman (I'm more of a Superman guy) but it seemed like the Arrow TV show had mostly Batman villains?

This show will be hard to watch if they don't give The Atom shrinking powers. I feel silly watching him play Iron Man.

Ra's al Ghul was the only major villain they used from Batman.

Deadshot is a Batman villain. Shoot Deathstroke JUST became a Green Arrow villain, he was more of a Titans/Dick Grayson/Batman villain.

hopefully its good ...sometimes too much of a good thing is no good at all ...atom looks cornier every time he uses the suit or opens his mouth ...his helmet sucks too I like hawkgirl but where is her wings? too much captain cold and heatwave could suck too because they are portrayed so one dimensional ...I would have preferred another solid solo character series not a bunch of c-listers we will see

For some reason I cant see Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter. Maybe he'll change my mind when the season debuts.

This is why I hate regular tv. If these episodes are already made, why cant they be posted onto Netflix & Hulu? Why does Hulu have to drip/drab the episodes because of broadcast antiquity, & why does Netflix have to wait until the next season starts before posting last season, other than the studios wanting to sell blu-rays.

& why cant iZombie get an additional 13 eps in S2 to make up for S1 being bite-sized? & why cant Liv be merged into this shared universe.

In addition, why not put Constantine & Papa Midnight on this show instead of Cold & Heatwave?

I thought the same question. The last time, Flash had worked with Snart to transport the metahumans to a safer place. Snart tricked him.

I don't think Flashpoint will play a major factor here. At first we thought it would, because of Sara's survival and Rip Hunter's appearance, even Professor Stein's separation from Ronnie as Firestorm. It seems that Barry would not go back in time to save his mother in season finale. I had some theories of what would happen if Barry saves her. I could be wrong though of what I said here. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm interested to know who dug up Sara from her grave. It could be Malcolm Meryln for all we know. Or else, how she was in Nanda Parbat coming to life from the Lazarus Pit?

Does he SAra died in the running season? Did Laurel tell him yet? Or now that sara comes back they'll be like, "Oh... well....i guess no damage done"
I haven't been following Arrow recently.

Yeah he knows. And he's back to being angry at everyone and wanting nothing to do with Laurel. All for nothing, now...

I think Sara probably should've stayed dead. This entire season of Arrow was kickstarted on Sara's death, Lance is all angry, Laurel is the Canary now, Thea is all traumatized, Malcolm did something unforgivable...nope, nevermind. None of that matters anymore.
