DOFP

Aside from the material with Tony and the ending fight scenes. DOFP is better in every way

Endgame is more pleasing because it delivers everything fans wanted and had been waiting for years.

But objectively speaking, DOFP is the better crafted movie, in fact, DOFP and Logan are the best crafted and most emotionally resonant CBMs, period.

I have seen DOFP but I haven't seen Endgame but I have heard that Captain Marvel has been buffed way more than she was in the comics so I'll go with DOFP.

I liked Apocalypse and think it gets over-hated by fans, but I was indeed expecting something much better after the masterpiece that was DOFP. As for Dark Phoenix, it wasn't horrible like many say, but it was unremarkable af, there is not a single thing in the movie worth mentioning.

Least a horrible movie can be laughed at, a movie like DP is just, pitiful.

For this, Imma say Endgame. There’s some things regarding days of future past that just begin to annoy me after rewatches of it.

There is nothing worth mentioning because the story was meh, the fight scenes (aside from Magneto and Nightcrawler) were meh and development was meh.

Being meh is better than being plain bad.

I’ve only seen Endgame once, but it hyped me up in theaters more than almost any other movie has

DoFP was a great movie that I’ve rewatched a couple times, can’t say for sure it’s better than Endgame

@thor_parker82: then I’d disagree. If I had a gun to my head and had to pick a movie to watch between Batman and Robin or Dark Phoenix, I’d pick B and R, while it’s an absolutely dogshit movie, there’s things about it that I can at least laugh at how stupid they are and they wouldn’t bore me to sleep like Dark Phoenix would (or I guess has).

Hey though, different strokes in the end though.

@thorofasgard: namely two things, relatively minor, I find it to still be a good movie, but these two things irk me

1. Quicksilver essentially being a plot device (and that feeling continuing in his subsequent appearances)

2. That stupid ass stinger at the end with Mystique and Wolverine that essentially was there just to be there

Also a bit of an annoyance at Magneto once again having the face-heel turn (this was about the 3rd time it’s happened as well by this point, least Fassbender is a pretty darn great young magneto, so that still offsets it)

And in DOFP they sent Wolverine instead of Shadowcat so I am voting for endgame for shitting on Comics.

Endgame was very uneven as a movie.

Endgame is more fun, action packed, "satisfying", has the higher replay value, and a bunch of other superlatives. But...in terms of being a better film, it's probably DoFP.

Endgame probably won’t get as many plays as Ragnarok, Infinity War, etc. I feel like the time travel stuff takes way too much of the run time, and while I love the character building i didn’t care for the heist stuff.

@georgewbush: Endgame has had a 700M+ increase from IW. It's literally already shown it has immense rewatchability.

Endgame had better writing action VFX and scale with a better villain

Really don't like the fact that DOFP completely throws the newer slicker X-men prequels that were setup by First Class and brought things back to square one.

I agree with everything in bold. I think the Apoc movie wasn't as good as DOFP but it was still very good imo...I'd give Apoc 8/10. I haven't seen Dark Phoenix yet, my sister just went today with her friends to watch it. She always gives Marvel movies 10/10 because she's a big Marvel fan but I don't like Marvel or DC that much so we'll just have to wait and see.

I thought the time travel in Endgame was the best part of the movie. The 'portals' scene was a little bit hokey, but I understand why it excited people. If they handled the depressing section of the movie a little differently I think it would have paced better.

Objectively, DoFP had better pacing and a clear vision start to finish.

I'm a much bigger Xmen fan than Avengers -comics, tv, etc, but Endgame was a sweet souvenir of fan service, and it had a more epic conclusion

DoFP is in my top five fave CBMs. The X-Men should have ended with that then Logan.
