As someone who hasn’t read a lot of Darkseid comics before, I think those scans were very interesting. I’m almost interested enough to read the comic.

Should I care? He's god of evil and murderer of trillions. If this were Superman, Frank Castle, Sinestro, Atrocitus, or even Staro I'd be more suprised.

This also explains why granny goodness, despite being so old, has survived so long at Darkseid’s side.
