The only problem I have with this is that Darkseid shouldn't have to persuade Granny in that way. She is loyal to Darkseid so she would either give it up willingly or Darkseid would just take what he wanted regardless of her feelings. Dude has sex; he has kids.

@heatforce: Darkseid “taking what he wants” is extremely controversial. DC is fine with male rape victims but if they were to do more female rape victims in this day and age, there would be some backlash.

@heatforce: True, but people take rape more seriously because of how tangible the pain is. That’s why people don’t give a cr@p when entire solar systems get blown up in movies and freak out when some is sexually assaulted in film.

This sexual assault thing is a weird line in the sand. I will say that im not a fan of how this alters the relationship between granny and darkseid though.
