Daredevil vs Hal Jordan - Not direct combat

All demonic creatures in the Marvel and DC Earth make a wager on who the true MAN WITHOUT FEAR is. They build an insanely elaborate haunted house on Halloween night.

The haunted house is designed only to scare and instill fear. No killing, soul stealing etc

The house is made to play on general life scary things, personal fears, past failings, and ANYTHING. Personal and non personal. All the house changes according to who is entering.

So, it shall adapt to Daredevil's blindness and senses and Jordan's ring and play on such things.

The house cannot be destroyed and violence cannot be done against DD or Hal.

Whoever makes it through first wins and whoever runs away screaming loses.

Who clears it?

So it's who can survive longer in a Halloween haunted house? Stalemate, any man with a pair of huevos would clear this.

Not an ordinary haunted house. One tailored against their own personal fears of any kind, past failings, past weaknesses, and so on. You know? Not like an average built haunted house.

Hal wins. Hes overcome the fear entity itself and has basked in many fears of his own past failings.

Yeah, nothing Daredevil has ever fought through is gonna compare to Hal literally beating Fear itself.

Daredevil is fundamentally different from Hal Jordan. Batman would be a more suited rival in this scenario, because they both work to overcome fear. That's not what Daredevil does. Daredevil does not conquer fear. He is the man WITHOUT fear. Hal feels fear and overcomes it; Matt literally does not feel fear at all no matter what. Once he was sprayed with fear toxin and nothing happened.

Probably, but the intent of the battle was more based on the fact both had the same nickname somewhat.

Which doesn't always make for a good battle but it seemed like a fun one to try out.

Well I'm saying Daredevil is going to win, or at best, it's a stalemate since Matt is never going to be afraid. He might become angry, depressed, broken spirit etc eventually, but he's incapable of feeling fear.

Persoanlly I believe DD doesn't feel fear because he's blind or at least that its a major part of it. Sure he's heard or even felt power before. From his POV everyones the same more or less.

I'd say Hal could conquer any fear but Matt wouldn't have any to begin with.

Going way back to the original Stan Lee days, the fact that he's blind and can't actually see what's in front of him is what allowed Daredevil to leap off rooftops and plummet towards the ground without any hesitation. Modern writers tend to put more focus on the "devil" part of his name and forget about the "dare" part, but originally, that's not what Daredevil was. Look up the word daredevil, as in a person who performs crazy stunts. That's what the character was. That's why he was defined by his fearlessness.

Having the ability to reject fear/not to be afraid is not the same as the ability to overcome fear and beat it after you are afraid. If there is someone out there who can overcome fear better than me, it doesn't mean it is harder to scare him than me, or vice versa. The way I see it, it is way more difficult to scare Hal/make Hal him experience fear than Matt, but when they do experience fear or when they are afraid, Matt can overcome it better than Hal can. I mean, statements indicate that it is totally opposite but I'm saying this based on what I have seen on panel. But when it comes to this scenario in particular, it's a stalemate.
