@kudlak-sin: Why would he need to replicate those feats in order to beat him? That doesn't make sense to me. He already has Silver Age esque feats from the original movies.
This version is based on the Kingdom Come version who is older and far more powerful. Again, as I said before, we've never seen this version in action before. He's 10-15 years older than his younger self so it makes perfect sense that he would be depicted as more powerful.
If he is capable of doing this, its scaling. That's how scaling works. Characters don't have to push a planet to prove that they can beat the character that can. They just fight that character and depending on how they perform, are scaled to them. For instance, if Darkseid beats up Superman, does he need to replicate all of Superman's strength feats to make the feat valid? No, it would be absurd to expect that.
The only way your point works is if Routhman has been portrayed as far weaker to the point where it doesn't make sense, and he hasn't. This is the first time we are seeing the aged version so he's not been shown as weaker. I see no reason why an aged up version wouldn't be able to replicate those feats, especially if he is supposed to be akin to KC Supes.
As to whether they're accurate, as I said, take them with a huge grain of salt.
