That was dreadful. Prolly the worst crossover

The only good thing about this crossover was cameos and fan service. I wasn’t expecting much and still ended up disappointed.

Screw the haters it wasnt perfect but nothing is, was much better than any other comic crossover with tv and movies.

@eobard21: Not sure why they cut him out.

@fabriocolage:

How much you want to bet marvel does it now that DC has done it but probably with spiderman and future shows.

@the_hajduk: True. I believe in one story spectre held two universes and saved them. I forget the circumstances but I recall him holding two earths in a multiverse event.

Hes def one of my favorite characters. I liked how they made Ollie's voice deeper just wish his eyes were glowing green more.

@frozen: I think hes alive seems most earths were restored given the ending while some earths were updated.

Also anyone else notice Superman from supergirl now their earth merged with earth 1 aka earth prime now. Lois said he has 2 sons and he acted surprised.

I still can't believe they got Ezra. Holy shit, that was amazing. And Oliver got a good death as well. I'm satisfied.

@rbt: I think Ezra exists in another multiverse. It's the omniverse, so the DCEU Multiverse would be unaffected by Crisis.

@bladeoffury: Haha.

Though on a serious note, the black S shield was supposed to be symbolise darkness, and the red was supposed to symbolise the light cutting through. Now it makes little sense. Maybe Kingdom Come events never happened now?

Yeah. There are multiple multiverses. DCCW is a multiverse(Still is I think, going by the final 2 minutes) and DCEU is another multiverse.

@rbt: Yeah, that makes sense. So now most major DC film universes have appeared in some form of cameo.

However, I was wondering whether the 'Nolanverse' was ever going to make a cameo. I'm now convinced that it doesn't exist and is just self contained and wholly separate to the multiverse stuff.

Also, the Smallville universe is probably still alive somewhere I guess.

When has the DCEU ever shown to be a multiverse?

It potentially will be. The point was that DCEU isn't a part of CW multiverse. There are multiple multiverses.

LOL I couldn't imagine Cavill's beefy Superman standing next to Hoechlin's. That would have been even more embarrassing than Hoechlin standing next to Routh's.

So, yeah, I went into this expecting two things:

Fan service and the merging of the multiverse. And got both those things. So I'm happy. It wasn't perfect, but it was still a great crossover and has done something no tv show has ever done before. In many ways it's similar to Endgame. I know some were disappointed by it, but it's not about the quality, it's about the sheer magnitude of accomplishment.

Anyway, about the episode, looks like we got a lot of stuff that happened:

-The Death and rebirth of a (smaller) multiverse

-Merging of Earth 1, Earth 38, whatever Black Lightning Earth is all into Earth Prime.

-Earth 2- which is the world of Stargirl and the JSA

-Earth 12- Home to the Green Lantern movie universe (though I wonder if this will be the universe for the upcoming GL HBO Max show)

-Earth 19- Home to Swamp Thing

-Earth 9- Home of Titans.

-Earth 21- Home of Doom Patrol, which finally shows that it is indeed separate from Titans.

-Earth 96- The Donner Superman Lives.

-Justice League on Earth Prime is formed

-Sara Diggle seemingly has been reborn?

-The world knows of Oliver Queen's heroism.

@the_stegman: I'm sure Smallville Supes lived too, though they didn't show some of those other Earths. Would sort of make his ending pointless if he didn't live.

Wasn't expecting that bit with Ezra's Flash. That ish was mind blowing. Now that the greater DC live action universe as a whole is all interconnected with each other I hope they do stuff like this more often. It's a great way to generate hype for movie products while differentiating the same characters from different universes. I just wish they'd did this a long time ago since I've wanted Arrow to reference Man of Steel since S2

@frozen: I think they had the chance to do something amazing with all the cameos... But they were just that. Cameos. So in the end it is still a bland and cringy story with good bits here and there. And no Mark Hamill Joker... Which is BS.

True I can understand the disappointment but at least he came back as the trickster for a few eps in past seasons.

I think Oliver Queen had a better finale than Tony Stark. And that’s not taking anything away from the Iron Man sendoff, I thought it was amazing. But I really like the story here and how Oliver Queen dies in a legendary way, but then gets revived, and becomes a cosmic entity for a substantial period of time while really feeling like he has earned the Spectre role, and then dies AGAIN in an even more epic way.

I feel terrible for Gustin. Miller's wearing a proper costume and in comparison Gustin legit looks like he bought his costume from Walmart. Then they both have to pretend that they're the same character. That's some heavy duty emotional torture.

Also the cameo did not have any relevance for the story at all

@kolkent: Eh I think Gustin's looks better.

Besides, Gustin is far more in alignment with how Barry should be. I'm not a big fan of the quirky ADHD version of Barry that Miller portrays.

No way Grant would cameo in The Flash movie. The most I expect from them(and even that's a stretch ) is an offhand comment. Like when Ezra's Flash discovers multiverse, he whispers something like 'So, that wasn't a dream'.

I'd be happy with that. But again, almost definitely not happening.

I am still not over this crossover. What a trip

I think what they’ll do is play the exact same scene in Flashpoint movie. Grant won’t appear outside of it or film anything new.

Dissapointed with it tbh

The writing was kinda stupid. That little scientist was there wrecking the army with no diff when Flash be like "This is the fight of our lives" Bruh there's some random human there trashing these things this is not a threat to you.

And then the Anti-Monitor in the end gets defeated like any other Flash villain of the week with some random plot device they pull out their ass. Why didn't they just do that at the start it seemed ridiculously easy to do and you'd think the Monitor would've thought of that first didn't seem hard for Ray to think of.

The Ezra cameo was cool except it literally had no relevance. I feel like the crossover has tried to bank on getting people hyped up about showing all these other Earths and characters (SmallvilleSupes/KC Supes) but just has typical CW writing.

People comparing Crisis to EG is absurd I don't even like EG but the production value, acting, writing and logic are incomparable and it's ridiculous to compare them if you look actually look at it objectively.

@thorthunder98: you expected too much from CW. But the Miller scene is pure fan service, which in this case wasn’t a bad thing.
