I don't see why not, Saiyans survived space radiation before and the heat is not above anything they have already tanked.

I'm actually pretty skeptical they could handle the heat of one. Lava was a threat to Goku and Frieza, and Vegeta was recently threatened by a lava spitting alien in Super. A nuke is much, much hotter than lava.

If his defenses are up though, I see no reason he couldn't handle the shockwave. Even King Piccolo was comparable in destructive output to a nuke.

He could survive the concussive force generated from a nuclear explosion just fine, but there is absolutely zero evidence to say that he wouldn't succumb to thermal or ionizing radiation.

Lava never threatened either of those 3. The Frieza and Goku thing was anime filler. While with Vegeta the issue was the lack of Oxygen within the the little box they had been confined in. Infact we see Vegeta in direct contact with Lava and it didn't seem to cause him any issues.

I think so I mean we seen Vegeta handle Absolute Zero as well as melt it and we seen Goku project a ki barrier to stop lavenders poison.

If lava couldn't hurt Vegeta at all there'd be no point in dodging or blocking the lava attacks, and he was sweating pretty bad from the intense heat in the ring. I think it's reasonable to say they aren't so heat resistant that they can withstand the heat of a nuclear blast which is many times hotter than lava. Though I had forgotten Vegeta did block the lava with his Saiyan armored hand, so you're right. I was mistaken on that front.

Feel free to ignore the Frieza part then. Sometimes it's hard to remember what is and is not filler when you've seen so many versions of the same show.

yes, rather easily without any problem.kid goku already took a missil to the face and was compeletly unharmed by it when batteling RR. specially after friza saga, frieza who is less durable than goku survived an exploding planet, the heat of the earths core is about 6000cl but when exploding an enormous amount of heat is genereted due to the friction up to milion grad celcius, almost the same as a nuke.

The force and heat would be as nothing to him. The radiation is another story.

This feels really dumb. On one hand, he doesn’t have enough heat resistance or radiation feats. But this is Goku. All the world’s nuclear weapons combined shouldn’t even be able to scratch him.

Goku has formed Ki barriers which have prevented absorption and poison, his durability should far exceed a nuke.

This is the guy that in BOG was going to annihilate the universe from punches, a nuke isn't a problem.

Lol, radiation poisoning takes a long time to kill people, gohan got poisoned by lavender and would have died very quickly without a senzu, so it's obviously stronger poison than radiation, and ki blocked it out easily once they knew. The heat, their ki blasts produce heat, and if they can easily destroy a moon with them, and survive moon busting attacks easily, they would no-sell a nuke, then leave the area as to not be around the lingering radiation. Stupid question
