Yeah, I was meant the threads rules, in this case.
And frankly, I think that you`re right about the different versions of different timelines. However, there shouldn`t be a, say, 100 wiki pages for one character. Batman, for example, has appeared in bunch of Elseworlds-stories. As for the golden age, silver age etc. versions...I think that character evolution is great for those.
Did I get sidetracked?
If I were designing the wiki... which i'm not nor am i working on it because i have been screwed over once too many times by people... I'd separate Significant characters apart...Earth-2 Batman / New Earth Batman / DCnU Batman, but "else worlds" Batman I'd likely have a page for that else world and have descriptions of them in each, or have the primary Batman page have them like they do now, but still have the other significantly different ones on their own pages...maybe even link between them
@Durakken: so basically you want the wiki to look like DC Database with a few tweaks...
interesting...

de nada.
umm...anywho...
if you have any questions about why a user is not included in this list, please pm me.
I have taken the liberty of presenting the Final total (with the combination of cosigns and FOVs (which are worth 5 times a cosign).
Voting ends in a few hours. This thread will be locked at 7:30 am EST. The results will be posted either the 3rd or the 4th (sunday or saturday). PM me until this thread is unachored and I might be able to include your vote. Thanks
@The Poet: How do you break ties, as it's clear there's going to be a lot, especially on the low end of the 100?

excellent question! I'm so glad you asked! This is something we haven't done in the past, but we are doing this list. Tie breaking will be handled by the 22 inital nominators (plus myself if necessary). I will give them the names of the characters whose points are tied and they will vote for the characters they want to higher.
Here's an example: say Hellboy, Spawn, R2-D2 and Iceman are tied (not an example from the spreadsheet of course...just throwing out 4 names). So the nominators will each give their own ranking order (1-4 in this case) and this ranking will each be worth a value (1st=4pts, 2nd=3pts...etc.). Now, say the resulting order based on that tie breaking vote is R2-D2, Hellboy, Iceman and then Spawn. Now, we won't be adding any pts collected from those votes, but we will be giving a .01 pt for whatever their ranking is (so in this case R2 would get .04 added to his total points you can see on one of my list status updates. Then Hellboy gets .03 added and ondown to Spawn who gets 0.1).
For future lists I will have the community do this step in the place of the nominators (though there would have to be a specific number to break ties...). However, I'm orcastrating the Best of the Month poll and this week is a little chaotic for me to handle two community projects at the same time. But like I said we'll do a community round sort of like the Add a point Take a point game minus the take a point for tie breaking and I will be more organized and prepared to do that (but I can't do that now...).
