well jon hamm was on the jimmy fallon show last night and he said that he did not know of the rumors of him playing superman .
Off-Topic:
Everytime I see CLiNT the magazine, the first thing that comes into mind is that, it sounds like a Hawkeye mini-series.
I hope they don't screw up the Deadpool movie. Then again, if it's really bad it could give the comic writers lots of material every time he breaks the fourth wall in the comics. It has potential to be the best movie ever, and also the worst. So time will tell.
EDIT: What's this about a live show on Fridays? Is one on tonight? I thought they were just talking about doing it.
I would be all over that Pixar Dr. Strange movie. After the great job they did with The Incredibles, I think they've got the superhero thing down, so combine that with the pretty wild visuals that could result from a Dr. Strange film and you get something that could be potentially amazing.
I like most of Mark Millar's writing, but sometimes he can be a tad... overstated? I personally prefer him writing traditional heroes simply because he tends to play up the "awesomeness" of his own creations, most of which I feel depend too much on tired shock value.
""Walking dead more awesome than vampirella, but that's just my preference. " -Babs That made me chuckle were is the love for vampirella? =) "
Pixar's least successful movie was Cars, and that was pretty good to me.
They put story very high up there, and put all their effort into their movies. I am sure if Pixar is involved in a Dr. Strange movie it will be great.
Plus, not bashing Dr. Strange, but he isn't as well known as X-Men, Captain America, Spider-Man, if they prove they can make a successful movie with him they can make amazing movies with other characters less well known or more well known than Strange.
The thing I am wondering is will it be CG or live action? CG would be awesome, an animated superhero movie.
And great job Babs.
I enjoyed the Big Live LIVE show. I also wrote a review about it in a blog posting. It was fun, but I had one large critique.

That's kind of some good news that the Deadpool movie wont be connected to Wolverine Origins.
Vampirella over Walking Dead and day but that's my opinion. lol She's drawn in a sexy type manner but that's second to how well she fights IMO.
It seems that suddenly Hollywood is bringing back older and more experienced actors to play the big roles in comic book movies. I guess DC and WB are hopping on that train as well. No one will EVER portray a better Clark Kent than Christopher Reeves in my opinion. Clark was never really that distinguished, which I guess makes for a better disguise. Superman, on the other hand, is as distinguished as they come. Clark has to be goofy and just plain nerdy to really pull of the whole alter ego thing.
A Dr. Strange animated movie is one thing... A Dr. Strange movie by PIXAR is something entirely different! I'd love to see it and I hope they send it to the big screen (It is PIXAR so they probably will).
Here's how The Walking Dead will end: everybody dies, and the last issue is panel after panel of zombies shambling about in silence. The End.
Iam all for a Dr Strange Pixar movie becuase i think that studio does awesome work and they very rarely dissapoint. As for Red Mist not a fan of new name, but hopefully hes not as lame as it sounds.
@Babs
better watch out babs with that pic on the main page for this article you might end up on http://antiduckface.com/
also love the news on deadpool
While I'd love to see a Pixar marvel movie, I don't know if it will happen.
I think Disney would basically have to force Pixar to do it. Pixar has only made original movies so far, so unless it was their idea originally I doubt they would want to.
Maybe Disney was like "we want a CGI Marvel movie, pick out a hero you want to do." Pixar probably originally picked someone like Squirrel Girl, then when that was turned down they picked a group like the Avengers initiative/academy or the young avengers, and Disney decided that wasn't marketable enough. Finally they settled on Strange because he's got all kinds of crazy villians and the movie could have amazing special effects.
But CGI superhero type movies work well. Incredibles was awesome, Despicable Me was great, and Mastermind looks fantastic.
