Last summer? didn't we do this earlier in 2012? We published it in Feb. and I remember I started right near the tail end of the Villain list to see if the mods approved of the idea. depends on how you look at it. I mean, Dick Grayson had the most cosigns on this list (6 : 15) and everyone on the new list cosigned him on the new list NEW Comic Vine Moderators’ Favorite Character list Also, if you look at the new list there are more DC than marvel, but then there are less people highlighted there...

I guess the older mods like Marvel and the newer mods like DC? Hmm...not sure...

Excuse me, but did you read ALL of what I wrote? or did you skip the begining where I pretty much said the order DOESN'T MATTER? :P If you actually read the intro you would know:

We ordered the Mods by the year they got into comics and used that order to determine the order of the list (1s first, 2s second, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s and any bonus characters they found necessary—all of which are ordered by their nominator's comic-origin year).

As for the lack of Joker, these are the characters chosen by the moderators at the time. I don't know if any of the mods who partisapted like joker (you have to ask them). They were given the chance to add any characters they wanted to see.

Instead of being angry with you about your comment regarding this being horrible (thus insulting the mods who actully nominated characters on this list, which is a terrible way to begin your stay on CV), I will issue you a challenge: you make a community project list with 20 nominators (each with 20 different egos) and ordering done by the community (btw community means more than just 20 people...maybe 50 to 100 voters). Then I want to discuss with you complaining users...because then you would understand.

You're confusing Staff and Moderators. users like K4 and Inferiorego were mods but now they are staff (meaning they get paid to do all the content you enjoy). Actually if I remember correctly Babs also went that rout...

We've also done a list for the group of newer mods like myself: NEW Comic Vine Moderators’ Favorite Character list for the 4 which joined a year after this one. I might do another for the newer mods, but we'll see...

So basically run of the mill characters for the most part. I'm glad someone decided to put in Chamber, that guy never gets any credit. No Captain/Miss Marvel, Sentry, Spawn. How disappointing.

This is so sad. Only Super-heroes or Super-vilains. Well aside from Uncle Scoodge, Blacksad and Spider Jerusalem. I find American Comics very poor in diversity. In comparaison to European Comics (aka BD aka Bande Dessinée).
