Astro Boy/ Atom learning the robot Pluto was capable of having emotions was a highlight for me in Urasawa's "Pluto" manga.

The slow zoom in each panel towards the shadowy behemoth until his face is revealed from Atom's perspective is a strong form of panelling sequential images.

I highly recommend "Pluto" for anyone interested in reading manga done by one of the very best mangaka out there and thus gets my vote.

The Spider-Man page is fine but I've never been a fan of using a splash page while having only two characters have a discussion (particularly for Peter. Too many speech bubbles) in said splash page when the creative crew could do the dramatic effect better with multiple panels.

I will go with Spidey since I was unaware that there was an Astroboy manga. I am curious about it now though.

I knew, but still going with Peter/MJ since that page was a real tear jerker after the long break in their relationship

@Penguin-Dust: There was the original manga created by the god and father of manga himself, Osamu Tezuka, which was made in 1950s and is the one that each of Astroboy's anime are all adapted from.

Post 2000, Naoki Urasawa decided to reinvent a single chapter called "The Greatest Robot on Earth" from the original manga into a 60+ chapter adult demographic, Sci Fi, Suspense and Thriller manga with expanded wide character cast character development and world building known as "Pluto". If you like a little "Blade Runner" mixed with the original Terminator film in your manga, I think you'd enjoy "Pluto". It had critical acclaim from both in the West and East. It even got nominated for multiple Eisner awards.
