I've never seen X-Men Evolution, so I vote Avengers by default.

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!

Best Marvel cartoon by a mile, it incorporates elements from all corners of the MU and features some spectacular voice-acting. Also has a great Silver Age aesthetic (if less than decent animation), and manages to balance its cast well enough so it doesn't become 'The Iron Man Hour & These Other Guys'.

X-Men Evolution has solid animation and some pretty nice outfit designs (Wolverine, anyone?) but I couldn't get past the first season. The whole 'high-school' thing is a little dull, and the plot felt very slow for me. It did give us X-23 though, so there's that, but I think Avengers still gets my vote.

I've never seen either, but I already know The Batman is better.
