Civil War Iron Man is nuke level

Zemo states the chamber he's hiding in could withstand a UR-100 rocket blast which is up to a megaton. Tony's confident he could bust through it, and Zemo agrees given time.

Thoughts? Seems like a pretty direct way of saying Iron Man's arsenal is comparable to a nuke. Could the Mark 46 no diff Superman?

This literally doesn't say anything and it's not combat applicable, Iron Man has never shown damage output on this level.

It was an analogy, not a rigorous assessment of Hulk and Thor's power to cause destruction in a single hit. Those two aren't dangerous in the same way that nukes are, unless you wanna use hyperbolic statements like Batman's statement on JL Clark.

It can withstand a nuke when it's detonated above the surface, and nukes being detonated from 2k feet. Plus they're in the heavy bunker, deep down the surface and the chamber is in further down.

Assuming chamber is made out of thick steel, it isn't gonna withstand a point black explosion of a nuke even a kiloton.

It can withstand the launching of a nuke, but not getting hit head on by one, still a very impressive feat tho.
