The Comics Universe is filled with some EXTREMELY disturbed individuals.

But who in this motley menagerie is the MOST off their rockers? Creeper? Mr Zsasz? Kevin from Sin City? Joker? Green Goblin? Carnage? Arcade? Mad Harriet of the Female Furies? Bullseye? Cheshire? Venom? Someone else? Who wins in this, er, Madman's Melee?

Bonus Question: Which Merciless Malicious Madman, in a prep/trick for trick/no holds/barred/anything goes free for all would be the Last Lunatic Standing?

Joker and Carnage are the craziest here.

Depends on your definition of crazy.

Joker is a sociaopath, so is Zsasz, Bullseye and some others.

Green Goblin has multiple personalities, and delusions and hallucinations .

Carnage is a psychopathic mass murder.

Arcade is not so much crazy as just very eccentric.

Madcap is completely crazy, but not famous enough to make most people's list.

Jamie Braddock was nuts as hell.

Joker gets a LOT of credit for being crazy, when actually he is just a VERY chaotic sociopath.

However, he is just the most famous, and does not have an off time.

I am leaning toward Norman Osborne due to the number of mental disorders or Madcap from intensity.

Joker in terms of crazy actions.

Joker is the definition of craziness .

Isn't Joker so crazy not even MMH was able to keep him sane for an extended period of time? He definitely takes the cake here. Fight wise. one of the furies stays

Joker and Creeper both are crazy in several ways. Harley probably needs a mention here as well. Mad Hatter also has a lot of issues. Basically half of Batman's villians are people in poor mental health.

That's just Batman villians btw, Spiderman (Carnage, Venom, Green Goblin, and more) and Flash (Trickster, Gorilla Grodd, Heatwave) have a plethora as well.

Joker think Creeper is a lunatic. Which makes 'yelow skinned wacky man' superior.

The whole gorillas are superior blah blah blah he spews makes him pretty easy to call crazy. That added to his anger issues and extreme ego makes him certifiable IMO

Hm I would say the Joker. The dude can't remember his past 100% he survives things that should kill him. He is probably the most messed up I would say. Shooting the commissioner's wife when he told her to not move when he threw a baby at her that is very sick and demented. The dude was fine when Batman retired but shortly after he came back he became the Joker again almost killing batman just to torment Bruce. He tortured Jason. Ripped some guys skin off just for the heck with it. Even his own face in Death of The Family and wore it like a mask. So crazy even the mobus chair didn't know his identity. In a fight in Death of the family he trapped Batman and Bruce quickly removed his gauntlets to escape but Bruce was immobilized by a toxin/drug he was exposed to when beating the joker up. I am open to suggestion but I think Joker.

Bonus Question: That's tough. I'd say Carnage because I don't see how any of the other crazies would be him, even with prep. Even Spider-Man had to team up with Venom to do it.

I agree with Mr. Whisper that it depends on how you define crazy. Joker and Carnage's psychopathy, for instance, is extreme, in that they have zero morality and are powerfully compelled to kill and/or destroy. But their "evil" nature and full estrangement from normal morality isn't "crazy" in other ways: they still see the world with relative fidelity, for instance. Although they have a fair amount of lack of self control.

I probably agree that Osborne is maybe the "craziest" in the sense that he has clear Dissociative Identity Disorder and a history of hallucinations, as well as delusions about the nature of reality, in addition to his psychopathy. So his connection to reality, and to his self, is very loose.

There are probably others outside this list with greater numbers of DSM-listed disorders. Madcap is certainly wacked out, I'd also give him a vote.

I really gotta keep up with my threads more---more people responded since the last time I checked this, what a pleasant surprise. What's crazier is not understanding the spelling was intentionally done that way to denote the characters in the thread's mental state, and the use of passive aggressive, off the topic nonsense trolling posts done in my threads for no good reason.

@theonewhoknows: I think there's a good case to be made for Deadpool, since he routinely breaks the fourth wall, which, depending on your POV, makes him either the craziest or most sane comic character of all time. A good case can also be made for Doom Patrol's Crazy Jane, I mean Crazy's in her name and pretty much any other Morrison character from that series can share the spotlight.
