Captain America or Wolverine - Who do you prefer?
Wolverine for me. He’s a guy that has lived for a long time, and in that has seen many loved ones go, get killed, lost children, lovers, friends. He was turned into a weapon, had his memories wiped, and cast aside. He has the rage of a beast in him but the honor of a samurai to balance it. He doesn’t want to see kids and other mutants become what he has and has taken in many characters as a surrogate dad so to speak, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Kitty, Laura, Jubes. He’s there for anyone he calls friend and despite what happened in the past is always the one at the front lines. With all his baggage and lone wolf persona, Logan knows what he is and just tries to do right as a good man but will dirty his hands so no one else has to. I like Logan’s personality. Throw in the whole unbreakable claws+skeleton, healing and mastery of the martial arts and you get a 100% certified badass character with good depth to him.
Nothing against Steve though. He’s easily one of my top 10 Marvel characters.

This. In addition, his ongoing battle with his animal side is the stuff of legend.
Steve does nothing for me. He fights for what's right and stands his ground, but isn't that what every superhero does? He's too much of a boy scout in my opinion.
This is going to come as a shock...I know...but Steve.
I like Wolverine a lot, but they've just OVERUSED the character SO damn much in the last three decades and done so many STUPID things with him that he's just gotten boring and tiresome.

Yeah tbh his popularity is insane, I think he has the 2nd most marvel comic appearances after Spider-Man.
I'm not disagreeing, but what stupid things did you have in mind?
Wolverine is probably top 5 favorite characters for me, whereas Cap is definitely top 5 least favorite. Easy choice.

Ummmm him being a part of a mutant sub group called "The Ferals" along with Wolvesband and a few others. Him being unkillable because of of some deal or something with Death. Things like that.

I'm not aware of the ferals, when did that happen?
Yeah the Angel of Death stuff was stupid, but luckily it's been completely forgotten and never mentioned again. It was mainly just damage control after Nitro skeletonised him. Wolverine returned to his status quo almost instantly though, as in the next few issues IIRC he tanked a plane crash and large chunks of flesh were missing yet he continued fighting Sabretooth. While during the Angel of Death story he was in a much milder plane crash but only survived due to the Angel of Death Crap.

I also remember a shark biting off both of his legs (after he got his adamantium back...well after) and wondering...after a plane crash in the ocean and wondering how it ate his bones.

Wow haha
Wolverine is a more interesting and complex character, a more badass character, and has overall a much better powerset and better gear than steve does.
@indomitableregal: If I may ask why don't you like Captain America
Wolverines way cooler and a lot more original while Captain America is basically Batman and Superman mixed together

Well for one, I'm not the super patriotic type, but we can ignore that factor. I hate Cap for many of the same reasons I hate Superman and Cyclops. I think he's bland. Vanilla. A boy scout. And I find his immutable sense of morality annoying. Sometimes it blinds him, makes him rigid and unyielding in situations where it really isn't necessary. It makes him clash with people because "I know I'm right (because I said so), therefore you must be wrong". I hate that he seemingly can't turn off "soldier mode". I hate stupid details like "I see faster". I hate... Cap.
@god_spawn: He's a father figure to Kurt now?
Wow it's been closer than I thought it'd be...
Come on people..... where are my Cap fans at?! :D
He's almost got this!!

Look both of these characters are legends for anyone's point of view....... I am a fan of Cap as well as Logan .....they both respected each other's legacy even after their death(Death of Wolverine: Deadpool & Captain America and Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America) ....This is what it means to be Captain America and Wolverine on Marvel Comics even though i don't deny there are some fans who disrespect both of them for what they are.......... therefore i will not not vote neither one of them then i will become partial towards one of these characters
Cap.
