Can mcu thor survive bvs nuke explosion ?
yes casually. Neutron star>>nuke
I wouldn't say tank the nuke but he'll survive and his skin gonna get vaporized
Maybe if we wanna wank his star feat. Definitely not no selling though.
Fun facts about neutron stars, which Thor took, from scientific experts:
M. Coleman Miller of the University of Maryland: "This is the equivalent of detonating the entire world's nuclear arsenal on every square centimeter of the neutron star's surface within a minute!"
Phil Plait, PhD from the University of Virginia: "The amount of energy released is just huge, it would completely dwarf the entire arsenal of nuclear weapons on our planet."
Thor no-sells with 0 damage lol.
Even Spider-Man would tank it easily.

Let’s ignore the fact that he took a concentrated beam of a dying neutron star (which had different colour than normal - determine heat).

If we want to analyze the power Thor resisted according to the effects of a "dying neutron star," here is another source from as official an organization as it gets:
Albert Einstein Institute: "The final farewell greetings of a supramassive rotating neutron star collapsing into a black hole ... Neutron stars have extremely strong magnetic fields threading their environment like huge propeller blades. Any left-over matter in the surrounding will be blown away by this magnetic fan and rotational energy is radiated away. Thus, while the half-dead star ages, it also slows down and becomes more and more compact, with gravity playing an ever stronger role. At some point the tired star can no longer withstand gravity's pull. It will cross the ultimate death-line and suddenly collapse to a black hole while transmitting a strong radio flash."
Any way credible science is analyzed, Thor's Nidavellir feat exceeds a nuke -- whether it's the full force of a star or something on the verge of becoming a black hole. Dude resisted sun level heat and near-black-hole-level gravity.
Nope.
Evidence to support that? Ah, who am I kidding! You'd probably run off the moment you realize you need to back up your claim.
Thor doesn't even notice.
Even Hulk, Thanos, Iron-Man, Carol, Spider-Man, and Cull can tank this nuke.
@david_searlie: I do not think Spider Man can.
@parkerkent: Ah, so you just ignored what I said? Gotchu.
@akztemp: What did I ignore? Please specify so I can respond to your desired point.
@parkerkent: The fact that the Star was dying (not like 5 seconds from dying as your linking sources) but we see the colour of the star and the heat being cooler than active neutron stars, 1KT nukes exist, so NWs calc on it being around 100KT he tanked would match up with it ‘far exceeding a nuke’.

I don't think there's any reason to assume a Dyson Sphere contained neutron star would have the same color as a non-Dyson Sphere contained neutron star. The dwarves clearly have altered its natural function for their own purposes. And when Eitri says "full force of a star," I think he means it. Can you show me scientifically verified sourcing that says the full force of any identified neutron star is weaker than any nuclear weapons?
@parkerkent: Can you find me a source that the Elves altered the colour of the star to fit whatever benefit you are thinking they were tryna complete?
The colour is a key thing which debunks all the stuff you were spam linking lol, fact of the matter is that the colour deduces it isn’t as hot as normal neutron stars and it makes sense it since it’s been stated many times as ‘dying’.
Source? Source? Source?

My posts here have been to address the OP, which asks if MCU Thor could survive the BvS nuke and stay in action. I've done that by referencing science on a more powerful feat, surviving the full force of a star. My question to you on sourcing for color is because the movie, Infinity War, makes no reference to the color of the star and what that would mean for its power. You are raising that as an issue. In the movie, Thor does, however, call it a "blazing neutron star." I'm just supplying citations about what is factually stated to occur onscreen. And only asking you to provide objective evidence for your claims. By the way, I'm only asking for that because you responded to my post, apparently in opposition.
@parkerkent: What the hell? So your logic is that the colour of the star had to be directly addressed in the movie to be different even though we clearly visually see it as a different colour? Yeah think we’re done here LOL.

>having to wank the blast of a neutron star for Thor to "maybe" survive a nuke

Bruh I don't even remember when I made that comment. By "wank" I was talking about the people that legitimately thought Thor was star level.
yes casually. Neutron star>>nuke
Of course.
Thor tanks the nuke.
With ease.
Don’t know why anyone would think he can’t.
Cope will not suddenly make these feats go away.
