Can MCU Iron Man survive this?
It depends on the strength of the Heat-Vision Blast, we know it has variable temperature.
If that's the standard surface-of-the-sun temp blast, then no, the armor doesn't have remotely the heat resistance to survive that. If Clark was subconsiously holding back to some degree, and didn't hit Vic with the same level of power he'd use on Zod or Doomsday, then perhaps he could survive it.
Yes. That same stream of heat vision only melted the side of a car immediately after Cyborg moved out of the way but people like to assume that DCEU Superman attacks at full force at all times for some reason lol
Not clear from the gif, perhaps my phone isn't working or stuff. Are you asking if Stark can survive Cyborg's blast or Heat Vision?
If its heat vision and it's the same intensity as Clark used on Doomsday or Zod which could instantly melt steel btw then nope, Stark gets roasted, probably bisected in half. I think Stark could survive Cyborg's blast though. Even then the structural integrity of his armour should be compromised by a large degree. That blast was powerful enough to annoy Superman.
Barely did anything to a cop car.
Starks armor>>>>>>cop car
@saberscar223: Im not surprised.
I don't know what to say. You got Supes Heat Vision barley doing anything to that Car,which I'm sure Stark's armor is Superior too... Then you have Killian messing up Stark's armor like nothing.
Probably not Killian was shredding his armors HV should do the same

Those were prototype armors not built for combat he made because he couldn´t sleep, he literally states that in the movie.
@DammeFavour: but then again. Nothing suggest Supes was fitting to kill. Otherwise he would have wiped everyone out.
@monsterstomp: at what temperature does car steel melt like that? Because it went straight through that car
@DammeFavour: Cars are made of aluminium. Hardly that impressive compared to gold titanium alloy.
@thor_parker82: so? They are still all made out of the same material and it's not like they're not functioning Iron man suits or they didn't function properly
Yes

What part of "prototypes not built for combat" you don't understand ?? They are not the same material, they are not as durable, they are not his main armors, simple as that, when you try to ignore and/or circumvent something that is explicitly stated in the movie, it's clear you have no real argument.
@thor_parker82: the only one stated to not be built for combat was the one that got hit by a truck. They literally said it during the malibu scene. They are the same suits. I don't know if you know this but all iron man suits are prototypes
@thor_parker82: don't recall him saying that in the movie

Not true, none of the armors in Iron Man 3 were built for combat, he literally states that, either way, I don't expect you to stop making up stuff, after all, you´re known as the biggest DCEU fanboy in here, I don't even know why you bother posting, no one takes you seriously, and I already told you to stop tagging me, I have no interest arguing with you, I'd rather talk to a wall.
@thor_parker82: don't recall him saying that in the movie
You should re-watch it then, I'll link you the scene later when I find it.
@thor_parker82: lol. Dude I can even link you to the transcript. You're the one making stuff up here, you accuse me of making stuff up while actively doing so, i guess i must have made up an entire movie
- Jarvis: Working on it, sir. This is a prototype. [Tony manages to use his suit to destroy one of the helicopters]
- Tony Stark: That's one.
- Jarvis: Sir, the suit is not combat-ready. [Tony manages to get away from the bullets being fired at him from one of the remaining helicopters and again uses his suit to bring down the helicopter]
@DammeFavour: Uh-huh, whatever you say pal.
@thor_parker82: sure mate
@DammeFavour: No need to insult each other...
@frankthetank40: what insult?
No....extremis soldiers were melting iron man suits and those top out at 3000 degrees
Tony tanked Thor's lightning, this should be a piece of cake. And the armor he was wearing when fighting killian was not intended for combat.
@saberscar223: Lmao you weren’t assaulted, it was clearly bait.
@frankthetank40: it wasn’t it’s bait to you because how you see it
Whether they were made for combat or not, the Iron Legion suits in IM3 were pretty clearly MUCH weaker than his main armours. Killian and his goons were ripping them apart with ease (even without using their heat powers). Heck, even Pepper managed to one-shot one of them.
Tony wasn't at his best prior to that movie. He hadn't slept properly for weeks, and was suffering badly from PTSD, and the quality of his suits suffered as a result.
