Can mcu hela pierce superman?
Maybe. Superman has gone unscratched by things like nukes, but she did pierce Thor through his armor.
@joker567892: The axe is the same as her swords.
It pierced Uru so yeah
Nope....hasn't pierced anything remotely as durable as clark. Uru isn't as durable as clark
That's kind of a stretch.
@ddg: a stretch would be claiming it is without actually having any feat that demonstrates this.
It's the same vibranium is as durable as kryptonians crap despite the fact that kryptonians have far better durability feats across the board compared to vibranium
@DammeFavour: In my eyes, just based off of what it takes to actually melt Uru would make it more durable than Clark.
I understand the point about vibranium, I'm torn on how it compares to Clark.
No and a few points and question:
1. Why do we call it Uru? It's like me calling Athena's blade or Steppy's axe nth metal or something.
2. Why assume that any of the current Asgardian armor/ weapons or even Hela's blades are as durable as stormbreaker? I see people comparing the creation of stormbreaker to all Asgardian gear but that's a falacy as Stormbreaker was meant to be a weapon to contend with an IG wielding Thanos. Even Mjolnir can't claim to be as durable as storm breaker.
3. On an equalized playing field yes, Hela could pierce Supes since I strongly believe Athena's blade could too, however, since magic in both film franchises are going different routes (dimensional energy i.e magic is science vs mysticism) then no when that is not equalized.
Has the word "Uru" ever been mentioned in the MCU?
I think once during the making of Stormbreaker but I could be wrong.
So it really holds no weight in being discussed with Hela's blades.

I don't think they did iirc. Imo we should call it MCUru until it's officially canon.

Odin's on Screen Profile says Gugnir is made of Uru.
@chuggachugga170: Probably not, from everything they have explained the technology asgardians use in the MCU is just advanced technology. so it would have the normal effect as it does on any human.also superman doesn't have a weakness to magic like kryptonite, he just isn't amune to it like he is to other things.
