Bruce doesnt really care for his company, thats why he has Lucius running it while he's off as Batman.

Actually, it has already been confirmed in an issue of Batman/Superman that Bruce's wealth exceeded Lex's.

Bruce is richer in a joint venture between LExcorps and wayne enterprises Bruce had the final say on all sales.

theyve been reasonably even for a number of years.. due only to the Wayne enterprises has been around for a LONG  time in terms of real estate, steel & shipping..while L Corps been around for arounnnd 10 15 yrs tops.. (obv alotta that growth is attributed to illegal or unscrupulous revenue streams..but still lol) so to even COMPETE with a company that is (apparently) an American Dynasty stretching back since the turn of the century &equalling in realistic terms to a combination of  Slim Helu, Gates &Buffets companies..(with a little rockerfeller thrown in) is Amazing.
 
In terms of sheer holdings and diversity Wayne is off the charts.. whereas in terms of Rapid growth and tech innovation Luthers co. has a slight edge..but in an atypical new money vs old money ...Waynes old money with new age savvy beats Luthers new money hands down every time

According to the Forbes Fictional 15 Lex's net worth is over 10.1 billion dollars whereas Bruce's around 6.5 billion. Also the feats Lex has accomplished with his money are greater an Lex is much smarter than Bruce (not to mention willing to bypass the law) it would make the most sense for Lex to be more rich.

I'm not sure who is, but I believe Bruce Wayne has been referenced as having wealth that exceeds Luthor's.

Batman actually can easily get tech that far exceeds Luthor. He just typically doesn't need it. That said, he has anti boom tube tech so that enemies can't boom tube into the bat cave, he also has set up anti magick magick spells of his own because villains like 2 face hire magick users to teleport into the bat cave, but Batman always dealt with it. Batman has a nuke, he created brother eye or whatever, and so forth.

Batman has picked up advanced alien tech and used it in combat with 10 minutes worth of spark notes. He's a genius who was like 10 minutes behind catching the secret organization that was not known by anyone known as the Court of the Owls, all while only a kid and giving up because he found a dead end which wasn't really a dead end since the court just before cleaned the place out and Bruce simply was a kid, it was only a game to keep his interest even.

There is a reason that Green Arrow referenced Batman when Deathstroke mass strategist 8-9 justice league members at the same time, saying Deathstroke was like Batman.

Batman doesn't use advanced tech because he doesn't need advanced tech, the guy casually walks between bullets, the guy dodges literal attacks made of light, the guy just reached over and caught kid flash like it was a toy, the guy outruns cars in full batman armor, the guy can throw people through missile proof metal gates, the guy kicks through THICK trees when he was a complete noob to being Batman, and the guy is a strategic genius who has every MO counteracted via rigorous training. So yeah, Batman is smarter than Lex.

Regarding money, at one point Bruce actually bought Lex's company from underneath him.

Pre-52 Luthors wealth fluctuated wildly, at the start he would have been far wealthier but many of his illegal activities had his company taken from him so he often started from scratch.

None of these things where invented by Batman and Luthor was gifted new god tech as well except unlike Batman he has some understanding of how it works.

He created brother eye which was merely a satelite, it was supervillains that actually turned it into the A.I. it would become.

Superman can build better tech then Batman let alone Lex.

I believe Lex Luthor is considering the conditions of metropolis vs gotham, metropolis is a far cleaner and high tech city. And also the fact that superman regularly smashes buildings like its nothing and guess who pays for the repairs? LexCorp so i think its safe to say Luthor is richer even though Wayne Enterprise has been around for a LONG time though

If you read New 52, the ruling elite in Gotham have admitted to scuttling development out of pure spite. And now they can seize the oldest buildings from one of the allegedly most wealthy people on the planet at a whim.

The short sighted ness of DC writers will only stop when they can no longer afford to keep their best IP. If the current rate of technology change continues, Aol time Warner will fade away, and the market will decide the only Batman vs Superman that really matters.

In the New 52, according to Forever Evil, LexCorp's assets comprise 90% of Metropolis on top of the rest of its' business, Lex has total control over his company, I'd give it to Lex. Though Bruce has the advantage of a century of family wealth on top of how much he's improved his family's company. Regardless, they're both far wealthier than Tony Stark. Also, Forbes' net worth stuff for comic characters outside of the cinematic arena should be ignored.
