Black Panther (2018) or Wonder Woman (2017)

I liked Wonder Woman more but I like her immensely more

BP, no contest.

Black Panther is better in every single way, especially in visual design and having a compelling main villain.

BP just the superior movie all the way through. The world building much more developed. Each and every character carried significant relevance as oppose to a couple in WW. The layers within the story are vastly superior in BP as opposed to the straight-forwardness in WW. Villain clearly one of the better offerings Mcu has to offer. Ares to me is just plot device, hardly any characterization. 3rd act was incredibly strong and emotional where as WW was just awful imo.

Believe it or not, BP carries far greater social and cultural significance than WW. As much as people think WW did for women, which it does, BP does in spades not just for women, but people of color, cultural identities and respect/love one should have for them.

BP much better movie, WW was mediocre.

I knew it was coming. Watching BP today.

Just came back from the theaters and Im picking BP.

Felt the only thing that was really different with BP from all the other Marvel movies was the cast and setting.

Wonder Woman was a cringe festival. I almost wanted to leave the theatre at that horrible ending fight with that Schwarzanegger accented guy. Black Panther was not breathtaking or anything but decent.

As much as I loved Wonder Woman, I have to give this to Black Panther.

I'm the ultimate Wonder Woman fan, but the Black Panther movie was far superior on all levels. It's not even a real contest.

Black Panther was more respectful of the source material and it didn't end in an indecipherable cgi whirlwind.

Pretty weird how the WW film has started to get loads of hate now, when I first joined this site everyone loved it.

I was rly shocked how toxic many WW threads especially in the battle threads often become, it starts with lowballing, goes over non-canon scans and ends with outright hate and even sexism. The lowballing part is not much different from what Thor often gets for his speed(on many sites) and the non-canon scans are also nothing new, but the rest is a whole different story.

It's not just the movie itself, if you compare WW threads from other sites in general with many from this site is it already pretty extreme.

Can't vote. I still haven't gotten through WW. I keep trying to watch it, but I just get distracted
