Better Trailer: Captain Marvel or Shazam?
I preferred the Captain Marvel (MCU) Trailer. I was excited to see Ronan, young Nick Fury and Agent Coulson. Shazam felt too full of Stale Jokes and Humour In my opinion.
Shazam because it actually looks interesting and fun. Captain Marvel is one of the worst trailers I've ever seen in my life.
CM. Neither was amazing though.
Shazam, but mostly cause I'm more interested in it.
I like Shazam as a character more, but I preferred the Captain Marvel trailer. I think it's vastly overhated and I still don't know why.
Shazam. Really hyped it up for me.
CM's just looked like any generic MCU trailer - not that that's a bad thing, but it just didn't stand out.
Shazam, because it appears to remember why Captain Marvel could once outsell Superman. The combination of kid, adult body and superpowers. I'm more interested in it, but I am not expecting anything grand either.
Captain Marvel otoh feels very... pretentious. The background drone, empathizing on the big CGI stuff and ofc the 'powering up' at the end... it feels like they are trying to make her into Snyder's Man of Steel, but using James Gunn's camera.

emphasizing not empathizing
Shazam was better. Captain Marvel wasn't bad, it was just underwhelming. The music was great though
I liked the Shazam trailer better because it made it seem like it would be a more fun superhero origin movie where the main focus will be on Billy and not other characters unlike in the Captain Marvel trailer where Nick Fury will also share character backstory with Carol. Also the Shazam trailer makes it seem everything will be in real time and not flashbacks or part flashbacks which isn't the case for Captain Marvel.
CM. Neither was amazing though.
Neither overly impressed me.
Captain Marvel left me strangely underwhelmed fpr an mcu trailer. Maybe its because it doesn't show of the visual style/effects of the movie like most of the first trailers for the recent movies did.
Shazam wasn't my cup of tea. Big part was the costume with the neon lightning bolt. It just looks really cheesy to me and I can only see a guy in a costume there notna superhero(granted that could be intentional given)
Shazam and it's not even close. Captain Marvel's trailer completely underwhelmed me. It was just boring. Shazam's trailer was the opposite. It was funny and full of things to be excited about.
There's a strong chance I'll see Shazam in theaters, there's basically none of me seeing Captain Marvel in theaters.
Neither wowed me, but of the two I give the edge to Shazam, because it was easier to follow and it made sense. The middle of the CM was too jumbled and without context.
A little hard to fairly compare the two, as one is more a goofy action comedy and the other a more serious sci-fi action movie. I personally enjoyed the Shazam teaser more, but in general people tend to enjoy comedy more or at least get attached to comedy easier. Plus I just already know more about Billy and his mythos than Carol's (relatively speaking), so there's that bias there too of whom I already have more of an attachment to.
Man..Captain Marvel was so underwhelming. I'm going to see it anyway, but jeez that trailer left me with nothing.
Shazam easily. least made me chuckle.

Kinda of reminds me of an episode regarding Captain Marvel out scaling or being superior to Superman on JL Unlimited which was really cool imo
