Not very impressed with the Wonder Woman trailer but I also don't like a lot being revealed in trailers so I think it was sort of okay.
That being said, the Widow trailer was really really generic. Instantly killed whatever hype I had for the movie. Not that I think many people would be interested in watching a Black Widow movie but still. It should've been made very differently, not like your run of the mill superhero flicks. Should've been slick and have had a more rampant espionage spy thriller vibe. Less gadgets, more politics, more mystery assassinations, more martial arts, less super powered stuff.
I loved the first Wonder Woman movie, so I am all in on the sequel, but if a trailer’s job is to get me interested in seeing a film or to increase my hype for a release then I have to side with Black Widow’s trailer. Prior to seeing the BW trailer last week I had little to no interest in a Black Widow solo movie, but now I am genuinely excited at its potential. Chances are I will like the Wonder Woman sequel more, but the Widow trailer had a greater impact on me.
