Spider man 3 is pretty good in my opinion. Yeah it's really disappointing and I hated eddie's casting choice but overall I enjoyed the movie and I don't hate the dance scene... it was supposed to be cringy even the girls cringed at Peter in the movie I wish people stopped bringing that scene up as a negative lol, Harry and Sandman were great villains so this is a pretty easy choice.
I honestly like Spiderman 3 when I first watch it, have not seen it a while. SS I thought was okay, it was good at being fun and for the most part had great casting. Definitely flaw, but entertaining none of the less. If I had to pick, I said Spiderman-3, but maybe bc I have to rewatch it.
Even though I can't stand the protagonist or Sandman or... well I actually liked Venom... Harry's death was one of the best scenes I've seen in a CBM. That scene alone stomps the entire Suicide Squad film.
Even with the awkward shit with Emo Peter dancing and generally angsty behavior, the core character chemistry between Harry, Peter, and Mary Jane was still there. The scene where Harry dies and just their general dialog with each other/tension is miles above anything in Suicide Squad. Its a terribly underrated film that just suffers from a massive flaw of having way too much going on, but if you can overlook some of the weaker stuff its still got some great character moments between the principal characters. Its honestly even aged better than the Last Stand for me.
Although SM3 was bad and plagued with too many subplots, it at least was coherent and had sensible editing. Can't say the same for Suicide Squad. So I'll go with SM3.
They are pretty equal to me. Both movies had redeeming moments but were overall mediocre. I used to hate Spider-Man 3 way more before, but now I've grown to like it in a weird way.
