Better Movie: Iron Man or Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

I say the Winter Soldier, mainly due to how great the fight scenes were.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the best MCU movie imo.

Winter soldier was better. Iron man was the typical MCU movie, but it was done better than most of the MCU movies. WS was different and touched on some heavier topics/themes. I completely loved both though.

The Winter Soldier is better. I personally find Iron Man boring.

This is tough. Winter soldier is an objectively better film. But Iron Man was the OG.

I seriously love both, but there are a few scenes in Iron Man that I have gotten sick of with repeat watching (and Cap is my favourite superhero and WS is one of the best MCU villains

Winter Soldier. Wasn't afraid to go a little darker and the fight scenes were bloody amazing.

Iron Man..WS had a few scenes that upon re-watching..kinda irk me. Mostly involving Hydra's Incompetence. (Missing Fury from point blank range in his car. Not recognizing Cap because he held hands and played kissy-face with Widow.) Not that those scenes ruined the movie, but Iron Man didn't have any like that...except maybe going to Burger King for a "Real American Cheese-buger.)

I've always wondered why The Winter Solder is praised that much. I found it good but nothing very special. But honestly not many Marvels are very good quality movies. Iron Man is amongs the rare good movies marvel has produced (along Hulk 2003, Captaine America: The First Avanger, Civil War and Doctor Strange).

Iron man. Even if it was the movie that started the MCU, it still felt very self contained. Kind of like A New Hope. Sure it's part of a larger saga but it stands on its own just fine.

Tony's escape in the MK 1 suit is one of my top 3 scenes in the MCU, if not my favorite scene period.
