Chamber Of Secrets. I enjoyed the lighter tone of the early films.

Goblet of Fire. I love Chamber of Secrets, but it is one of my least favorites of the franchise (again, I dig it, just not as much as the others).

Goblet of Fire. Chamber of Secrets isn't bad, but I enjoyed it a bit less than most of the others (though that might just be my arachnophobia).

My two favourite HP films. GOF is #1 while COS #2, so my answer should be pretty clear.

Chamber.

Goblet left a lot of cool book stuff out.

A while ago, I might have said the Goblet of Fire, but after reevaluating the first two movies, I'll say Chamber of Secrets. Goblet of Fire has plenty of cringe-worthy moments and, on a more personal note, too many deviations from exciting parts of the book which make it seem more dull if you enjoyed the book.

This is hard because the graveyard scene blows Chamber of Secrets out of the water, but Chamber of Secrets is more well rounded.

@zafros13: this is pretty much my thought process. Ralph Fiennes chews up his first Voldemort scene so well, but the rest of the film is meh to me with a couple highlights.

COS, it was more book accurate and a better adaptation of the book.

The mythology, to Chamber of Secrets is superior to Goblet of Fire; Goblet of Fire however is a technical case of less boredom

Goblet of Fire, though Chambers isn't far off.

I feel CoS is a more authentic movie. I think it has the definitive Harry Potter aesthetic and vibes out of the seven movies. It’s length gives it the Lord of the Rings style of feeling like a very grand story.

GoF is also long, but you don’t feel the grandeur in the same way. Dumbledore acts weird. I think there’s worse creative decisions in general. However I do still think it’s very great.
