Better film: Casablanca or It's A Wonderful Life?

Casablanca.

I prefer It's A Wonderful Life, but Casablanca was one of the most perfect movies I saw.

So close my head is spinning trying to decide. In the end I decided to go with It's A Wonderful Life. Jimmy Stewart and the feels I still get from the film edge it out. I love him telling off Potter.

It’s a Wonderful Life is not even a good movie.

It was a failure until NBC bought it for cheap and just through it on repeat every Christmas because so few people watched TV at the time.

It became tradition due to it being cheap and on all the time not because it was good.

@ninetoadclown: It is now and extremely acclaimed film regarded as one of the best ever made by criticis. Plenty of film classics weren't box office hits and/or critical hits at the time of original release.

I was going to vote for Casablanca, but while writing the post I realized that no, I actually prefer It's a Wonderful Life.
