Going with van Sciver here mostly because of his versatility in depicting faces when compared to Ed Benes.
Of course Benes is a very good artist as well, and he can do some wicked cheesecakes, just check some of his commissions.
They're both very close to each other in quality, I love their art...there are artists these days who are so annoying at what they do, but these two draw in the style I like, just like the comics in the 1930s to 1990s
Judging from the images, Ethan likes to put cross hatchings on the face
I'm going to go with Ethan because I see more definition on the drawings
There’s always been something about Van Sciver‘s art that bothered me, his characters look very rigid as if it’s not really someone in motion but rather a statue trying to simulate motion.
Hail Caesar!
It's cool seeing how far Ethan has taken off. It's great seeing Comicsgate so successful.
Are you getting Cyberfrog?

No, I haven't backed any of his campaigns. I've seen some of the pages he's released, it looks like it's going to be great. I'll probably end up getting it at some point down the line, but right now I'm focused on the past, and saving my money for filling in the gaps in my collection of back- issues. that said the present for comics is the most interesting it's been in a while thanks to CG. Doug's EWJ comic looks like it's gonna rock too.
@combo-man: The Earthworm Jim art looks really good. It's great that Doug is the one who gets to tell the story of his creation.

That really is true, when you think of how much of a 1st this is. very few things these days are a 1st, but this is the 1st! Earthworm Jim comic book to be written and drawn by the guy who created the character and the first detailed origin of the character. it's basically the Batman: Year One of Earthworm Jim.
@witchbiade: As much as I dislike Nazism, Sciver is pretty damn talented.
@ghostodoofus2: disagree. Wholeheartedly disagree.
